Sorry Carly Rae Jepsen, fun., Gotye, and One Direction, the People’s Choice 2013 award for Favorite Breakout Artist went to The Wanted. The group was very humble when they took the stage to accept their win and slightly overwhelmed as this is their first major award.
Thanking Ellen DeGeneres specifically for all of her support, the group broke out in a speeded-up version of “Afternoon Delight” in her honor.
