Robbie Amell, Meng’er Zhang, Hugh Skinner, and Christelle Elwin have joined the cast of Netflix’s popular fantasy series The Witcher for the upcoming third season. Netflix just announced the new additions to season three along with details on each of the new characters.
The Witcher newbies will be joining returning cast members Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as sorceress Yennefer, Freya Allan as Ciri, Joey Batey as Jaskier, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, and Tom Canton as Filavandrel. Jeremy Crawford plays Yarpin Zigrin, Eamon Farren is Cahir, Mahesh Jadu is Vilgefortz, Terence Maynard is Artorius, and Lars Mikkelsen is Stregobor.
Additional returning cast members include Mimî M Khayisa as Fringilla Vigo, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Wilson Mbomio as Dara, Anna Shaffer as Triss Merigold, Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, Mecia Simson as Francesca, and Graham McTavish as Sigismund Dijkstra. Bart Edwards plays Duny, Ed Birch is King Vizimir of Redania, and Kaine Zajaz is Gage.
The Witcher, based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, is executive produced by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, Tomek Baginski, Jason F. Brown, Sean Daniel, Mike Ostrowski, Steve Gaub, and Jarosław Sawko. Schmidt Hissrich is the showrunner and Stephen Surjik, Gandja Monteiro, Loni Peristere, and Bola Ogun are season three directors.
Writers include Mike Ostrowski, Tania Lotia, Haily Hall, Rae Benjamin, Clare Higgins, Javier Grillo-Marxuach, Matthew D’Ambrosio, and Troy Dangerfield.
