The first official photo has just arrived of Hawk and Dove from the upcoming DC Super Hero series, Titans. The photo shows Titans stars Alan Ritchson (as Hank Hall/Hawk) and Minka Kelly (as Dawn Granger aka Dove) in their superhero costumes. Ritchson and Kelly co-star alongside Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Gods of Egypt) who’s taking on the role of Dick Grayson (aka Robin).
The gorgeous Hawk and Dove costumes were designed by costume designer Laura Jean Shannon. Shannon’s credits also include Black Lightning, Iron Man, and The Jungle Book.
The series comes from Weed Road Pictures, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television. Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, and Sarah Schechter are the executive producers. Titans will air on the Warner Bros. Digital Networks’ direct-to-consumer digital service. A premiere date hasn’t been announced, however Titans is expected to debut sometime in 2018.
Alan Ritchson’s credits include Blood Drive, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland, The Wedding Ringer, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Minka Kelly’s starred in 500 Days of Summer, Jane the Virgin, The Path, Almost Human, Charlie’s Angels, What I Like About You, and Friday Night Lights.
