On average, 4.3 million viewers tuned in to the first nine-episode season of History’s Vikings starring Travis Fimmel and created by Michael Hirst. The addictive, gritty drama, which was the #1 new cable series of the year according to History Channel, will return for a second season in February 2014, and the network has just unveiled two new photos from the upcoming season.
Per the History Channel: “In the season premiere, the battle begins between Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) and Rollo (Clive Standen). This Viking clash pits brother against brother and there can only be one victor.”
