Rosamund Pike’s Moiraine Damodred is front and center on Prime Video’s poster for The Wheel of Time season two. However, she’s not alone as all the key players appear behind her, looking incredibly serious and ready to take on dark forces and protect the world.
Josha Stradowski (Gran Turismo) plays Rand al’Thor, Daniel Henney (Criminal Minds) stars as Lan Mandragoran, Zoë Robins (Power Rangers Ninja Steel) is Nynaeve al’Meara, and Madeleine Madden (Dora and the Lost City of Gold) stars as Egwene al’Vere. Season two also stars Marcus Rutherford (Obey) as Perrin Aybara, Dónal Finn (Rogue Heroes) plays Mat Cauthon, and Ceara Coveney (Young Wallander) is Elayne Trakand.
The Wheel of Time is based on Robert Jordan’s bestselling novels and was adapted for television by Rafe Judkins (Hemlock Grove). Judkins serves as showrunner and executive produces along with Mike Weber, Darren Lemke, Marigo Kehoe, Justine Juel Gillmer, Sanaa Hamri, and Amanda Kate Shuman. Radar Pictures’ Ted Field and iwot Productions’ Larry Mondragon and Rick Selvage are also on board as executive producers.
Season two will premiere on September 1, 2023 on Prime Video.
