‘Hotel Mumbai’ Unveils New Clips with Armie Hammer and Dev Patel

Two new clips arrive from the dramatic thriller Hotel Mumbai, based on a true story. The new clips – “Do You Have A Family” and “We Take Our Chances” – focus on the events inside the Taj Hotel as it’s being taken over by terrorists.

The cast of the 2019 action thriller is led by Oscar nominee Dev Patel (Lion) and Critics’ Choice Awards nominee Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name). Nazanin Boniadi (Counterpart, Homeland), Tilda Cobham-Hervey (The Kettering Incident), Anupam Kher (New Amsterdam), and Jason Isaacs (Star Trek: Discovery) also star in Hotel Mumbai.

First-time feature film director Anthony Maras helmed from a screenplay by John Collee and Anthony Maras. Basil Iwanyk, Gary Hamilton, Mike Gabrawy, Julie Ryan, Andrew Ogilvie, and Jomon Thomas served as producers.

Director Maras’ behind the scenes team includes director of photography Nick Remy Matthews, editor Peter McNulty, production designer Steven Jones-Evans, and costume designer Anna Borghesi, with music by Volker Bertelmann.

Bleecker Street and ShivHans Pictures will release Hotel Mumbai in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles on March 22, 2019. Hotel Mumbai expands on March 29th.

The Plot: A gripping true story of humanity and heroism, Hotel Mumbai vividly recounts the 2008 siege of the famed Taj Hotel by a group of terrorists in Mumbai, India. Among the dedicated hotel staff is the renowned chef Hemant Oberoi (Kher) and a waiter (Patel) who choose to risk their lives to protect their guests. As the world watches on, a desperate couple (Hammer and Boniadi) is forced to make unthinkable sacrifices to protect their newborn child.
