Keanu Reeves surprised fans at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con by putting in an appearance alongside director Chad Stahelski to show off a special sneak peek at John Wick: Chapter 4. The new one-minute video finds John Wick asked if he’s given any thought to where this ends. He’s also warned no one can kill everyone before Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King shows up to ask if he’s ready for what’s to come. Based on the footage in the clip, the answer’s yes.
Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane join Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne for the fourth chapter of the John Wick saga. Chad Stahelski, director of all of the previous John Wick films, is back at the helm, and Shay Hatten and Michael Finch wrote the screenplay.
Lionsgate’s targeting a March 24, 2023 theatrical release.
The Plot: John Wick (Reeves) takes on his most lethal adversaries yet in the upcoming fourth installment of the series. With the price on his head ever increasing, Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Osaka to Berlin.
