Al Gore made the trip to CinemaCon in Las Vegas to introduce the first trailer for his An Inconvenient Truth sequel, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power, during Paramount Pictures’ presentation. Speaking to members of the National Association of Theatre Owners, Gore thanked them for their support and said 10 years ago An Inconvenient Truth proved movie theaters can be powerful engines for change. Gore hopes the sequel will be a tool for galvanizing action, saying the climate crisis is not a partisan issue.

An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power was directed by Bonni Cohen and Jon Shenk and is set to open in theaters on July 28, 2017.

The Plot: A decade after An Inconvenient Truth brought climate change into the heart of popular culture, comes the riveting and rousing follow-up that shows just how close we are to a real energy revolution.
