Chris Stapleton earned five nominations, enough to top the list of The 52nd Annual CMA Awards. Nominees were just announced by the Country Music Association for the annual CMA Awards which this year will be held on Wednesday, November 14. The show will air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on ABC beginning at 8pm.
Producer and musician Dann Huff followed Stapleton with four nominations. Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Chris Janson, Miranda Lambert, Midland, Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban each picked up three.
The 2018 CMA Awards will be hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, marking their 11th year handling hosting duties for what’s been dubbed “Country Music’s Biggest Night.” David Wild is the head writer, Gary Halvorson is directing, and Robert Deaton is the awards show’s executive producer.
