“The Astronaut” music video stars Jin as an alien who resides on Earth after his ship crash lands. One day, he spots a mysterious beam guiding him back to his crashed spaceship and beckoning him home. Jin becomes determined to return to his home planet and makes his way through the city and into a rural area where horses are more common than cars.

On his way to the spaceship, fond memories of his time on Earth flash through his mind. The video ends on a heartwarming note, with Jin deciding to remain on Earth and stay with his loved ones, eventually finding his “true” home.

Coldplay’s Chris Martin appears briefly in the music video as a news reporter delivering breaking news.
