Netflix just announced the season two premiere date of Marvel’s Daredevil starring Charlie Cox in the titular role. Netflix will release all 13 one-hour episodes of the critically acclaimed comic book-inspired series on March 18, 2016 at 12:01am PT. The premiere date was announced on Daredevil‘s social media pages via a teaser poster for the much-anticipated second season.


Daredevil is one of the series created as part of a deal between Netflix and Marvel. Other shows include Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage, Marvel’s Iron Fist, and Marvel’s The Defenders. Douglas Petrie (American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) are Daredevil‘s co-showrunners and executive produce the series along with Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb.

Marvel’s Daredevil Plot:

Blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) fights against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the superhero “Daredevil” in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil) is joined by a stellar cast including Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), and Scott Glenn (Stick).
