The Wire star Dominic West [pictured here in BBC’s The Hour] will be handling the lead role in Showtime’s new drama series, The Affair. Playwright and writer/producer Sarah Treem (House of Cards, In Treatment) and Hagai Levi (In Treatment) created the series, with Treem writing the drama based on an original idea.
Per the official announcement, West has been set to play Noah in the pilot episode of the series which is being told separately from a male and female perspective.
The Plot:
In The Affair, West stars as Noah, a good husband, devoted father of four, and New York City high school teacher whose settled, comfortable world is about to implode when he meets a woman he thinks is his soul mate.
