The Vampire Diaries‘ Ian Somerhalder has committed to a role in the action thriller The Anomaly set up at Unstoppable Entertainment. The recently single Somerhalder will be joining a cast that includes Noel Clarke, Luke Hemsworth (Chris and Liam’s brother), Brian Cox, and Alexis Knapp.
Noel Clarke will direct the thriller from a screenplay by Simon Lewis. Filming just started on the production, which will be shooting around London.
The Plot:
The Anomaly follows the travails of a traumatized ex-soldier who wakes up in the back of a van, alongside a kidnapped boy, to find that he only has only nine minutes and 37 seconds of consciousness to work out why and how he got there.
