Carlos Santana and the Santana Band will be co-headlining a series of six special concerts this summer with The Allman Brothers Band. The concerts will kick off on July 22nd at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Lake, New York, according to Santana’s official announcement. These co-headlining concerts come after the first leg of Santana’s Shape Shifter Tour 2012.
Tickets will go on sale beginning May 4.
“It is a delight and an honor to finally share the stage, and the music, with Gregg Allman, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes and The Allman Brothers Band,” sid Carlos Santana. “This is something that we’ve hoped to make happen for many years.”
“We’ve all looked forward to doing this for a very long time,” said Gregg Allman about the upcoming tour.
