A&E has set a June 7, 2025 premiere date for season 16 of Storage Wars. New episodes of the 10-episode season will air on Saturdays at 9pm ET/PT. Season 16 marks the first time the reality series has expanded into one-hour episodes.
“After 15 seasons of Storage Wars, we are thrilled to expand the format and take an even deeper dive into the high-stakes world of storage auctions,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, Executive Vice President & Head of Programming, A&E and Lifetime. “We can’t wait for the fans to experience the series on a larger scale than ever before.”
Brandi Passante, Dave Hester, Kenny Crossley, Lisa Delarios, Dusty Riach, and Ivy Calvin and his sons, Rene and Casey Nezhoda return as bargain hunters attempting to outbid the competition and walk away with collectibles and hidden treasures. Executive producers include Jeff Hasler, Brian Lovett, Jeff Bumgarner, Roman Mykytyn, Franklin Cumberbatch, and Sean Gottlieb.
“Storage Wars features teams of bidders on the hunt for valuable abandoned and repossessed storage units and with only a few moments to glimpse inside, they must decide whether they’ve spotted trash or treasure that they can turn into big profits. Join the bidding frenzy as Dan and Laura Dotson take their place leading the auction as buyers compete to grab the best locker of the day,” reads A&E’s synopsis. “It’s a high-stakes business where each locker possesses the unexpected, and the teams will have to hone their skills to find the diamond in the rough. They’re willing to risk it all in a bidding war, but will they hit the locker jackpot or be left sorting through piles of junk?”
ABC’s Will Trent is wrapping up a strong third season with episode 18, “Listening to a Heartbeat.” But before diving into that, can we just talk about episode 17 for a minute? Angie revealed that she’s pregnant and it’s not Will’s baby – it’s Dr. Seth McDale’s. That revelation was overshadowed by confirmation that Will’s biological father is the sheriff he’s butting heads with, Sheriff Caleb Roussard (played by Succession‘s Yul Vazquez). Talk about a pivotal episode!
The season three finale, “Listening to a Heartbeat,” will air on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 8pm ET/PT.

ABC’s The Rookie finishes up season seven with “The Good, The Bad, and The Oscar.” Episode 18 will air on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT, and this morning ABC confirmed the series’ eighth season will premiere in 2026.

The final trailer for the John Wick spinoff Ballerina shows off clips of familiar John Wick players, including Ian McShane, Lance Reddick (RIP), and, of course, Keanu Reeves. The trailer shows off more action scenes, with Ana de Armas’s Eve declaring, “When you think of me…you should think of fire.”
The cast also includes Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, and Norman Reedus. Len Wiseman (the Underworld franchise, Live Free or Die Hard) directs from a screenplay by Shay Hatten (John Wick 3 & 4), based on the John Wick characters created by Derek Kolstad.
“Taking place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, the film follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma,” reads Lionsgate’s synopsis. Producers include Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and John Wick director Chad Stahelski.
Lionsgate will release Ballerina in theaters on June 6, 2025.

ABC’s fall 2025 primetime lineup looks a lot like its 2024 fall schedule. The network’s coming off a season where it claimed all five of the top spots against its competition in the coveted adults 18 to 49 demographic. High Potential took the #1 spot, followed by Abbott Elementary, The Rookie, 9-1-1, and Shifting Gears.
“ABC dominated this season in multiplatform ratings, which are the most relevant metrics that reflect how audiences are consuming television today,” said Craig Erwich, president, Disney Television Group. “We are meeting viewers where they are, and this achievement really highlights our strategic approach and commitment to creative excellence. Looking ahead, we’re all about maintaining stability, delivering quality, and driving innovation, with new shows and returning favorites from some of the industry’s top creators and biggest stars.”
Dancing with the Stars and High Potential will return in their Tuesday night time slots this fall. Wednesday’s lineup will look familiar, with Shifting Gears and the Emmy-winning comedy Abbott Elementary. They’ll lead into The Golden Bachelor and Shark Tank on its new night. 9-1-1 and Grey’s Anatomy return to Thursday nights, and they’ll be joined by newcomer 9-1-1: Nashville.
Celebrity Wheel of Fortune with new host Ryan Seacrest moves to Friday nights, joining long-running newsmagazine 20/20. Sundays will bring back America’s Funniest Home Videos and The Wonderful World of Disney.
Will Trent, The Rookie, American Idol, and Celebrity Jeopardy! will premiere midseason. There’s still no official word on the status of Doctor Odyssey.

9-1-1: NASHVILLE – The newest entry into the franchise, 911: Nashville, is a high-octane procedural about heroic first responders, as well as their family saga of power and glamour set in one of America’s most diverse and dynamic cities. FX has set summer 2025 premiere dates for the fourth season of the Emmy-winning dramedy The Bear and the series premieres of Alien: Earth and The Lowdown. The network confirmed the dates and released new details on the upcoming seasons.
The Bear will return on Wednesday, June 25 at 5pm PT/8pm ET with the release of all 10 episodes on Hulu. In addition to Jeremy Allen White as Carmy, the returning cast includes Ayo Edebiri as Sydney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie, Abby Elliott as Sugar, Lionel Boyce as Marcus, Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina, and Matty Matheson as Neil. Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon return in their recurring roles as Uncle Jimmy and Claire, respectively.
“Season four of FX’s The Bear finds Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Sydney Adamu, and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich pushing forward, determined not only to survive but also to take The Bear to the next level,” reads FX’s synopsis. “With new challenges around every corner, the team must adapt, adjust, and overcome. FX has set a Tuesday, August 12, 2025 premiere date for Emmy winner Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth. Based on the blockbuster sci-fi film franchise, the series will kick off with the release of the first two episodes on Hulu at 8pm ET and FX linear at 8pm ET/PT. New episodes of the eight-episode first season will arrive on Tuesdays.

Ethan Hawke stars in and executive produces FX’s new drama The Lowdown, premiering on September 23, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT with the release of the first two episodes. The eight-episode season will air on Tuesdays.
Reservation Dogs‘ Sterlin Harjo created the Tulsa noir series and writes, directs, and executive produces. Ethan Hawke, Ryan Hawke, and Garrett Basch also serve as executive producers.

“The Lowdown follows the gritty exploits of citizen journalist Lee Raybon (Hawke), a self-proclaimed Tulsa ‘truthstorian’ whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble.
Lee lives and works in a rare bookstore tucked in the heart of Tulsa—a local refuge and unofficial community hub. While Lee’s no idealist, he’s fiercely committed to exposing corruption and unearthing the city’s hidden rot, even when it puts him at risk. His constant sleuthing pulls him deep into Tulsa’s underbelly—and often away from his 14-year-old daughter, Francis (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), a precocious kid who’s inherited his curiosity and longs to join him on his adventures. Netflix just released the first batch of photos from Untamed, a limited series set to premiere on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The six episode series stars Eric Bana as a special agent for the National Park Service Investigative Services Branch.
“A character-driven mystery-thriller that follows Kyle Turner (played by Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness,” reads Netflix’s synopsis. “The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park and in his own past.”
Mark L. Smith (American Primeval) and Elle Smith (The Marsh King’s Daughter) created the series and serve as showrunners and executive producers. Eric Bana, John Wells, Erin Jontow, Todd Black, Tony Shaw, Steve Lee Jones, and Cliff Roberts also executive produce.
“Everyone thinks of Yosemite as this beautiful place with all the vistas and all the scenery, but we were trying to touch on the dangers that are just beyond that,” said co-showrunner Mark L. Smith in a feature on Tudum. “I love stripping all the cheats away, stripping all the more modern tools that people can use. It really gets down to the character and what they can find within themselves.”

Sam Neill as Paul Souter. Souter has been the chief park ranger in Yosemite for half his life. He’s a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to Turner. He’s comfortable in all facets of his job, whether it’s dealing with crime inside the park or with the bureaucracy around it.
Lily Santiago as Naya Vasquez. An ambitious young, former Los Angeles cop, Vasquez is the newest addition to Yosemite’s ranger squad. She came to the park to find a new life with her 4-year-old son, Gael. Despite being a little green when it comes to a landscape like Yosemite, her strong will, astute investigative skills, and big-city homicide techniques become useful tools in a murder that is distinctly human.
Rosemary DeWitt as Jill Bodwin. Jill is Turner’s ex-wife, a former teacher and park counselor, who remarried a few years after their divorce. Despite the fracturing of their marriage, Jill and Turner maintain a strong bond, held together by events from their past.
Wilson Bethel as Shane Maguire. A former army ranger, Maguire now uses his skills as the park’s Wildlife Management Officer. Maguire’s a loner, preferring to live by himself in the wilderness where it’s easier to follow his own rules.
Alexander Skarsgård stars as a “self-hacking security construct” in Apple TV+’s new sci-fi comedy Murderbot. The series will premiere on May 16, 2025 with an episode titled “FreeCommerce,” and the above clip shows Skarsgård’s character figuring out what to call itself.
Episodes one and two stream on May 16th, followed by new episodes of the 10 episode season every Friday.
Joining Alexander Skarsgård for season one are Noma Dumezweni (Presumed Innocent), David Dastmalchian (Oppenheimer), Sabrina Wu (Joy Ride), Akshay Khanna (Critical Incident), Tattiawna Jones (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Tamara Podemski (Outer Range). Skarsgård also executive produces along with series creators Chris and Paul Weitz. The Weitz brothers wrote and directed the first season, with Andrew Miano, Keith Levine, and David S. Goyer serving as executive producers. Author Martha Wells is a consulting producer.

NBC’s announcement of its upcoming fall 2025 primetime lineup confirmed the network’s renewed Brilliant Minds with Zachary Quinto and The Hunting Party starring Melissa Roxburgh. The two returning dramas join new episodes of the Chicago trio (Med, Fire, and PD) as well as Law & Order and Law & Order SVU on the network’s September/October 2025 lineup.
The fall lineup kicks off in September with the return of The Voice, with Michael Bublé, Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, and Reba McEntire coaching season 28. October brings the NBA back to NBC, and then in November the network debuts new seasons of returning comedies Happy’s Place and St. Denis Medical.
NBC expands its comedy lineup with The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins starring Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe. And the network has pilots of Stumble and an untitled comedy from Superstore‘s Sierra Teller Ornela that may be picked up for series as part of the 2025-2026 season.
Unfortunately, the news hasn’t been great for fans of Lopez vs. Lopez, Night Court, Found, The Irrational, and Suits LA. NBC has axed those shows, with only Grosse Pointe Garden Society‘s fate still unconfirmed.

SURVIVING EARTH – NBC is going way back in time to see how life not only survived cataclysmic events but thrived in the unscripted special event series order Surviving Earth. A co-production between Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group, and UK indie Loud Minds, the eight-episode Surviving Earth will take an incredible journey into prehistory to learn the lessons from past mass extinctions.
Adopting cutting-edge digital technology, each episode transports the viewer back to meet the bizarre and amazing creatures and breathtaking landscapes of a vibrant lost world. Audiences will witness how life finds a way to survive on a planet where meteors fall, super volcanoes erupt, seas boil and the land moves. From the creators of Walking with Dinosaurs and Primeval, these are the stories of the survivors, fighters and lucky ones that shaped the world we live in.

Filming is underway on season four of Lupin starring Omar Sy as gentleman thief Assane Diop. Netflix confirmed the series has been renewed and that production is already underway on the eight-episode new season.
“I often say that Lupin is an extraordinary plaything. I find great joy in it every time. Together with Netflix, Carrousel, and Gaumont, we’ve invested the time needed to raise our ambitions and deliver even more surprises and enjoyment, both for us and the audience. The fresh energy from Carrousel Studios aligns perfectly with this vision. I’m eager to share the new episodes with as many people as possible,” said Sy.
The series premiered in January 2021, followed by season two in June 2021 and season three in October 2023. The first three seasons remain in Netflix’s top 10 list of non-English productions.
Netflix didn’t release a synopsis for the upcoming season starring Sy, Ludivine Sagnier as Claire Laurent, Antoine Gouy as Benjamin Férel, Soufiane Guerrab as Youssef Guédira, and Shirine Boutella as Sofia Belkacem. Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc-Francard also star. Sy serves as co-showrunner along with Louis Leterrier. Edouard Salier, Everardo Gout, and Hugo Gelin direct season four.
