‘Tracker’ Season 2 Episode 13 Recap: “Neptune”

A man patiently waits for his wife to try on a dress in an upscale Manhattan store, only to discover she’s vanished on CBS’s Tracker season two episode 13. He begins to panic after discovering her purse and phone are still in the dressing room.

Velma (Abby McEnany) rings Colter (Justin Hartley) with details on the case, including that there’s a $20,000 reward. Colter’s close by and meets with the missing woman’s husband, Logan (Oliver Rice). He confirmed he called the police, but they seemed to assume Clare just ditched him. This is unlike her, and no one on social media has heard from her.

They check out the store for any clues the cops overlooked. Logan is an aeronautics researcher and often works on weekends. His wife dragged him to lunch, and they went window shopping. It’s totally random that he convinced her to pop in and try on a dress.

Logan insists their relationship is fine and they haven’t been fighting. He believes someone took her, and Colter inspects the alley behind the store for clues. As he’s opening garbage bins, Logan reveals Clare disappeared once when they were first dating. That time had to do with her brother, who has substance abuse problems, needing her help.

As they’re talking, Logan gets an alert on his phone that someone’s breaking into his place.
By the time they arrive, the person’s gone. There are a few signs of someone being there, but the cash and jewelry in the dresser are still there. Colter looks around and discovers Clare’s work laptop is missing. Whoever broke in tried to make it look like a robbery.

They watch the video from Logan’s interior security camera, and Colter notes that whoever broke in used a signal jammer. That’s unusual, and Colter decides his next stop will be Clare’s work.

Colter walks through SLD Publishing and discovers a dead body not far from the main entrance. Colter discovers four more bodies, all recently executed, in their cubicles. Colter calls Randy (Chris Lee), who’s still subbing in for Bobby, and both are quickly convinced this isn’t a publishing company. The company’s website looks suspicious, and Colter realizes SLD’s a front for some government agency. Randy warns Colter this is much more dangerous than a simple missing person’s case.

Colter spots a staff photo, and Randy confirms the website shows seven employees. Five are dead, Clare’s missing, so who is the seventh person? Randy texts a list of the employees with photos, and the missing person is Eileen Turner, listed as Editor-in-Chief.

Randy uses Colter’s phone hooked into the computer to access Eileen’s files. They pull up Clare’s file and it’s full of voice recordings. The most recent recording reveals that Clare was an agent tasked with identifying an “anomaly” for a secret organization. Clare confirms others have been read into the case.

Colter’s forced to disconnect when SLD’s front door opens. Two men wearing hazmat suits enter and start cleaning up the bodies. They’re well-armed, so they’re definitely not janitors. Colter texts Randy, telling him he needs him to create a distraction. One of the men begins wiping the computers clean as Randy remotely sets off the fire alarm. That allows Colter to escape unnoticed.

Colter fills Logan in on his wife’s real occupation. Logan had no idea his wife is a spy. They met on a flight two years ago, and Logan confirms she travels a lot to conventions. Colter breaks the news that Logan doesn’t really know his wife.

Colter had suggested that Logan spend the night at a hotel, and as they’re talking, Logan answers the hotel room door. It’s not room service. The call’s disconnected, and when Colter calls back, it goes straight to voicemail.

Meanwhile, Randy calls Reenie with details on Colter’s current case. Randy’s obviously worried, and now Reenie is too. He hopes Reenie can use her government contacts to find out what Colter’s gotten mixed up in. Randy will keep digging while Reenie asks around.

Suddenly, Randy’s computer starts scrolling through files. Someone’s hacked into his system!

Colter enters Logan’s hotel suite and spots his phone on the floor just inside the door. Logan’s gone, nothing seems disturbed, and his laptop is open on the desk. The hotel room’s phone rings and a disguised voice says they know who Colter is. Colter scans the room for cameras as the caller demands he stop working on this case. The caller orders him to walk away.

Reenie calls with an update on what she’s found. SLD appears to be a covert counter-terrorism agency within the Department of Defense. She advises Colter to quit the job immediately.

Colter follows a man delivering room service through the hotel’s employee area and spots Clare (Alvina August) heading into the parking garage. He runs after her, gun drawn, and scans the nearly empty lot. He sees a phone on the ground, and Clare, also armed, emerges from behind a car. Colter disarms her and introduces himself, explaining that her husband hired him. Clare reveals that Eileen, her section chief, told her they’d been compromised. Eileen had a car waiting for her outside the dress store, and they were going dark.

She wasn’t allowed to tell Logan anything. Clare doesn’t know what’s going on, but the agency controls cloaked satellites. It’s high-level surveillance meant to keep the country safe. Eileen sent her to a safe house, but then Clare pieced it all together. Someone in her office was selling information, and Clare realized it was Eileen. She went to the office but was too late. Clare believes Eileen needs something from her or else she’d be dead too.

Eileen must have had Logan kidnapped to use him as leverage. Eileen reports to Deputy Director Bartholomew, but Clare’s not sure if she can trust him. Just then, Eileen texts wanting to meet at 7pm. Eileen wants to find Logan, but Colter thinks she should go to the meeting. He’ll work on finding Logan.

Tracker Season 2 Episode 13 Recap

Colter has Randy ready to track Logan’s location while Eileen meets Clare at a restaurant. Clare has her phone hidden next to her so that Randy and Colter can listen in. Eileen confirms she saved Clare’s life, and if she had stayed at the safe house, she would have let her live.

Eileen reveals she needs Clare’s help repositioning the satellite. (It’s a two-person job.) Clare gets Eileen to admit she did this for money and that five people are dead because of what she did. If Clare wants Logan back, she’ll help with the satellite.

Clare demands proof of life, which is what Colter and Randy need. At that exact second, Colter’s approached on the street by a man selling tickets to his magic show. Fortunately, Randy is able to get Logan’s location, despite the interruption. When Colter approaches their table, Clare and Eileen have already left. Randy reminds Colter that Eileen is going to kill Clare as soon as she gets what she wants.

Logan’s kicking the closet door where he’s being held, pissing off the men as they watch a soccer game. Cleaner #1 (Brahm Taylor) checks on Logan and warns him to stay quiet or else. As he closes the closet door, Colter attacks him from behind. The man’s cries are muffled, but Cleaner #2 ( Michael Adamthwaite) hears a thud and goes to check on his partner-in-crime.

Colter cuts Logan free, but Cleaner #2 unleashes a hail of bullets. Logan’s hit but will live, and Colter is able to kill their attacker. After checking on Logan, Colter takes off to help Clare.

Clare and Eileen return to SLD and access the satellite system secured in a safe. Eileen enters her identification, and Clare steps up to enter hers. She deliberately types the wrong authentication code twice. Eileen puts a gun to her head and threatens to kill Logan if Clare makes a mistake again.

Clare delays following Eileen’s orders for as long as possible but ultimately must do as asked. The chime from the elevator gets their attention, and Clare manages to disarm Eileen. Colter rushes in and asks Clare not to kill Eileen; they need to find out who she’s working with. Clare makes the right choice and knocks Eileen out.

Case closed, Reenie calls and reveals Eileen’s boss thanked Colter for his service. They’re not sure if that’s meant to be reassuring or a warning, but Colter expects a visit at some point. Reenie suggests he take in a Broadway show before he leaves, and Colter shocks her by admitting he already has tickets to the musical Six. He jokes that he’s broadening his horizons.

Colter meets with Logan and gets the reward check. Logan admits he doesn’t answer Clare’s calls since he no longer trusts her. Clare has lied about everything. Colter reminds him Clare risked her life to save him. He also reveals Clare gave him a note to give to Logan. It reads:
“Logan, I’m sorry about everything. I love you. I’ll be waiting in Fiji.”

‘1923’ Season 2 Episode 4 Recap: “Journey the Rivers of Iron”

1923 Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton and Helen Mirren as Cara in ‘1923’ season 2 episode 4 (Photo Credit: Trae Patton/Paramount+)

Paramount+’s 1923 season two episode four barely moves the needle, with Spencer still far from Bozeman. Things at the Yellowstone still look dire, despite good news from Elizabeth. Alex would be justified in regretting her journey to America, and far too much time is being spent on Donald Whitfield’s sexual proclivities. Season two is halfway over. Will Spencer and Alex reunite before the season wraps up? It’s not looking good for the newlyweds/parents-to-be.

Here’s a detailed recap of 1923 season two episode four, filled with spoilers. You’ve been warned!

Donald Whitfield (Timothy Dalton) easily convinces his wealthy friends to invest in Montana’s burgeoning tourism industry. Whitfield is confident that flights into Bozeman, followed by a push to get the state to pave the road through Paradise Valley, will make a winter park resort a veritable cash cow. He believes the state will go along once he convinces them of the tax revenue stream. Whitfield informs his wealthy buddies that the buy-in is 100,000 per share. They agree to his proposal and are all in.

Banner (Jerome Flynn) quietly reminds Whitfield the proposed resort is located on Jacob Dutton’s land. Whitfield tells him it’s time to build the army and take out the Duttons.

Later, after speaking with his wife and getting the go-ahead to do whatever’s necessary to take care of their family, Banner tells Whitfield he’s got 35 men ready to fight. Plus, miners will join the war against the Duttons.

However, Banner’s still unsure how they’ll explain the killing to the law and outsiders. Whitfield shows him a county map of Montana and Wyoming. He points out a small county on the border that has no residents, no cops, and no private land. The government owns the land. All these factors make it an ideal location for disposing of deceased bodies. (Is this the “train station” the Duttons will use for generations to come?)

Banner wants to see this place, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. One of Whitfield’s prostitutes accidentally killed the other prostitute, and Whitfield asks Banner to dump the body at the border location. (This whole S&M storyline is unnecessary, so I’m going to continue to gloss over it in my recaps.)

Alexandra Survives a Devastating Attack

Alexandra (Julia Schlaepfer) is brutally attacked in a Grand Central Station toilet. Her attacker leaves her bruised and bloodied after stealing her money and the expensive bracelet her friend gave her.

She comes to just as the train she’s supposed to board is about to leave the station. Alex grabs her possessions that have been scattered around and races for the train heading to Boston. It’s pulling out just as she reaches the terminal, and she’s told it’s too late. Alex doesn’t give up. She runs and desperately leaps onto the train.

Stares from the upper-class passengers greet her, and she ignores them as she walks through the cars looking bedraggled. Fortunately, the thug did not steal her ticket. Unfortunately, she’s sharing her sleeper with a mom and her young children. When the woman asks what happened, Alex says she was robbed. Her attacker took everything.

1923 Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
Michelle Randolph as Elizabeth and Darren Mann as Jack in ‘1923’ season 2 episode 4 (Photo credit: Trae Patton / Paramount+)

The Duttons Finally Get Some Good News

As Elsa’s voice-over says, spring brings hope that’s quickly dashed by more snow. Cara (Helen Mirren) watches as the men build a fence around the main house. Inside, Jack (Darren Mann) and Jacob (Harrison Ford) build a small wooden apparatus that will hold Zane (Brian Geraghty) still while Dr. Miller (Mark Daneri) drills into his head.

Dr. Miller’s never performed the operation before, but it’s Zane’s only hope of recovering from his debilitating injury. Zane’s sedated with chloroform, but Mr. Miller warns that he’s not sure how long it will last.

Jack gags as Dr. Miller cuts into Zane’s skull, echoing the reaction of viewers. He begins the drilling, and Zane screams out in pain. Jack and Jacob manage to hold him still as Dr. Miller confirms the worst part of the operation is over. They loosen the straps and turn Zane’s head sideways while Dr. Miller inserts a tube to suction out the blood. Jack gags again as the blood flows out. Zane can feel the pressure being relieved, and Dr. Miller removes a large clot.

Dr. Miller dresses the wound with bandages before asking Zane to try and sit. Zane sits up, shocked to find that the drill site hurts, but the pressure has vanished. No longer dizzy, Zane is overcome with emotion when he realizes he’ll be able to walk again.

He takes a few steps, and the nausea and dizziness don’t return. Zane turns to Jacob and asks, “Are we going after them for what they done to us?” Jacob assures him they are.

After Zane leaves, both Jack and Dr. Miller confess they didn’t have much faith this would work. Dr. Miller takes a well-deserved swig from his flask.

Jack tells Elizabeth (Michelle Randolph) the great news, but she kicks him out of their room. She has nothing left to say unless he’s willing to leave with her for Boston.

Zane walks outside and into the arms of his wife, Alice (Joy Osmanski). They head inside to rest as Cara informs Jacob that Elizabeth wants to go home. She’s tried talking to Elizabeth, but nothing’s gotten through to her. Jacob volunteers to try, and Cara says okay, even though she teases that if anyone could make it worse, it would be him.

Jacob attempts to comfort Elizabeth, assuring her this winter has been one of the hardest to live through. Elizabeth says Jack chose the Yellowstone over her, but Jacob reminds her Jack would never leave right now, given their ranch and way of life are under attack. Jack believes leaving now would be abandoning his family.

Jacob suggests she visit her family in Boston for a while and come back after the winter’s over. Cara interrupts because it’s time for Elizabeth’s shot, and Elizabeth thanks Jacob for understanding. She tells Cara she’ll administer the shot herself. Immediately after injecting the dose, she doubles over in pain. Cara rushes off to fetch Dr. Miller, who’s thankfully still around cleaning up before returning to town.

A short while later, Elizabeth emerges from her room and tells Cara she’s better than all right. Dr. Miller informs Cara that Elizabeth is pregnant! Fortunately, the rabies vaccine won’t interfere with the pregnancy.

Jacob and Cara watch from the porch as Jack and Elizabeth have a happy reunion outside in the field. Jacob believes he’s responsible for this change in their relationship and that his pep talk worked miracles.

“It turns out I know more about women than you give me credit for,” says Jacob. Cara replies, “It is your complete ignorance on the mind of a woman that is the cornerstone of our marriage. Without it, I would have left you decades ago.”

Still, Cara allows him to believe this is all his doing for a few minutes until Jack screams out, “She’s going to have a baby!” Cara laughs as Jacob is forced to accept that his wife is correct.

Brandon Sklenar Season 2 Episode 4 Recap

Spencer’s Troubles Compound When He Hops a Train

Spencer (Brandon Sklenar) is in the middle of nowhere, walking to the train station when Sheriff Hastings from Ft. Worth pulls up. Spencer hands over his ID and confirms he was a soldier and is carrying a rifle. He’s forced to provide Hastings with a brief rundown of his recent travels, but Hastings doesn’t really care. He orders Spencer to take a seat in the 1920s version of a squad car, and Spencer admits the place he left isn’t the place he’s going back to. Hastings brings up the shootout that happened yesterday, and only then does Spencer realize just how much trouble he’s in.

Hastings reveals “that Italian boy” was a talker. Spencer swears he didn’t have much choice in helping transport booze. None of that matters, as Hastings and his fellow officers have a plan. They want Spencer to drive the truck to the previously arranged delivery location, with an officer riding shotgun.

The other police cars stay out of sight until Spencer pulls up to a warehouse’s delivery ramp. The cops start firing at the bootleggers, and Spencer is handcuffed to the steering wheel to prevent him from leaving.  Of course, the handcuffs barely slow Spencer down. He shoots through the chain and crashes the truck into the police blockade. Spencer takes off running toward the train tracks as Hastings gives chase. He manages to jump into a train car without being noticed by Hastings.

Unfortunately, the car’s three other occupants aren’t very welcoming. The strangers, referred to as “tramps” in the 1920s, demand payment for the “train tax” in the form of food or money. Spencer claims to have neither and unsheathes his rifle. The leader warns that since trains rock a man to sleep, they’ll just wait to attack until Spencer nods off.

As the hours pass and night descends, Spencer continues to keep vigil over the trio. Unfortunately, he can’t help himself and nods off. The tramps swing into action. They approach Spencer, and the girl places a knife to his neck while the man in charge attempts to carefully take the rifle out of his hands.

Spencer jerks awake when the gun moves. He kills the leader, but the others attack. Spencer shoots the male before knocking out the girl holding the knife. He tosses his belongings from the train and follows them off. He follows the tracks, aware they’re headed west but unsure of his current location.

Teonna Learns About the Bounty on Her Head

The cowboys round up the strays and send them down into the valley where Teonna (Aminah Nieves), Pete (Jeremy Gauna), and Runs His Horse (Michael Spears) are waiting. The three join the cowboys and the larger herd that’s heading toward the stockyard.

Once there, Teonna’s group is invited to the chuckwagon for a meal. Everything’s going great until Teonna notices wanted flyers with her face on them plastered all around the fairgrounds.

‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ is Returning for a Third Season

Disney’s “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” stars Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson (Photo: Disney+)

Percy Jackson fans have a reason to celebrate. Disney+ has officially renewed Percy Jackson and the Olympians for a third season, way ahead of the series’ season two premiere. Season one debuted in December 2023, and season two is targeting a December 2025 release.

“From the moment Percy Jackson and the Olympians debuted, it was clear this series had struck a chord with fans of all ages,” stated Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television. “With season two set to premiere this December, we’re thrilled to announce that Percy’s journey will continue with a third season. Huge thanks to our incredible cast and creative team, our partners at 20th Television, and our visionary and talented producers who continue to bring Rick Riordan’s world to life with such depth and imagination.”

The just-announced third season will be based on Rick Riordan’s The Titan’s Curse. Season two stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Daniel Diemer. Disney+ hasn’t confirmed who will be returning for season three.

“We’re so grateful to be continuing the story of Percy Jackson on Disney+. This third season will be new territory for the screen, bringing fan favorites like the Hunters of Artemis and Nico di Angelo to life for the first time,” said Rick Riordan. “It’s a huge sign of commitment from Disney, and speaks volumes about the enthusiasm with which the fandom has embraced the TV show. Thank you, demigods worldwide!”

Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg created the series and serve as executive producers, along with Dan Shotz, Rebecca Riordan, Craig Silverstein, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Bert Salke, and Jeremy Bell. Additional executive producers include D.J. Goldberg, James Bobin, Jim Rowe, Albert Kim, Jason Ensler, and Sarah Watson.

‘Freakier Friday’ Teaser Trailer: Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan Pull Another Switcheroo

Scroll through the Freakier Friday YouTube comment section, and after the “Chad Michael Murray” and “Lindsay Lohan back on the big screen” comments, you’ll see viewers praising an actual live-action Disney movie that isn’t adapted from a Disney animated feature or based on a comic book. Sure, it’s a sequel. But at least it’s a follow-up to a popular live-action film and not a remake, do-over, or reimagining of a classic animated film.

Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis (Everything Everywhere All at Once) reprises her role as Tess Coleman, and Lindsay Lohan returns as Anna Coleman. Also reprising their roles from 2003’s Freaky Friday are the aforementioned Murray along with Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Rosalind Chao. Julia Butters, Vanessa Bayer, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan also star in the body-swapping comedy.

Freaky Friday was released on August 6, 2003. The sequel will open in theaters on August 8, 2025.

“The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis,” reads Disney’s synopsis. “Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.”

The original film was directed by Mark Waters, with Nisha Ganatra directing the 2025 sequel. Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis serve as producers. Executive producers include Nathan Kelly, Ann Marie Sanderlin, and Lindsay Lohan.

‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 is Officially Moving Forward

Ted Lasso Season 4
‘Ted Lasso’ is renewed for season 4 (Photo Credit: Apple TV+)

Fans kept the faith and refused to believe Coach Ted Lasso called it quits at the end of season three. Today, Apple TV+ officially confirmed we haven’t seen the last of the optimistic football (or soccer, whichever you prefer) coach. A fourth season of Ted Lasso is in the works, with Jason Sudeikis returning as the titular character and executive producer.

Details are few, but Sudeikis did say they’re writing it right now. Speaking with Travis and Jason Kelce on their New Heights podcast, Sudeikis revealed Ted will be coaching a women’s team. Apple TV+ did not confirm who from the talented ensemble will return. However, it was previously reported that Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift have signed on for another season.

“As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap,’” stated Sudeikis in the renewal press release. “In season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.”

Season four writers include Brett Goldstein, Sarah Walker, Phoebe Walsh, and Julia Lindon. Sudeikis, Goldstein, Leanne Bowen, Jack Burditt, Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, and Bill Wrubel executive produce. Dylan Marron is the season four story editor, and Walker and Walsh are producers.

Ted Lasso has been nothing short of a juggernaut, inspiring a passionate fanbase all over the world, and delivering endless joy and laughter, all while spreading kindness, compassion, and unwavering belief,” said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. “Everyone at Apple is thrilled to be continuing our collaboration with Jason and the brilliant creative minds behind this show.”

The Emmy award-winning, critically acclaimed comedy premiered in August 2020. The 12-episode second season debuted in July 2021, and season three in March 2023.

Karen Read Docuseries Clip Shows Jennifer McCabe’s Suspicious Google Search

A Google search conducted three hours before police officer John O’Keefe’s body was found is the subject of ID’s new clip from the documentary series A Body in the Snow: The Trial of Karen Read. The video reveals the startling discovery that O’Keefe’s friend Jennifer McCabe looked up “hos (SIC) long to die in the cold” at 2:27am.

The five-part documentary series will premiere on March 17, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT, with new episodes airing on March 18 and 19. The docuseries comes from Terry Dunn-Meurer, the co-creator of Unsolved Mysteries.

ID released this description of the docuseries: “On a cold January morning in a sleepy suburb outside of Boston, a police officer named John O’Keefe is found dead on a fellow officer’s front lawn. Authorities, citing a toxic dynamic between O’Keefe and his girlfriend, Karen Read, immediately narrow in on Read as their main suspect. They allege Read backed into O’Keefe with her car in a fit of passion and then left him to die in the snow—but Read maintains her innocence, with her defense alleging something far more nefarious was at play.

With the 2024 trial ending in a mistrial, and a 2025 retrial upcoming, many questions continue to swirl over what really happened that night. In a new multi-part docuseries, Investigation Discovery takes viewers behind the scenes of the Karen Read 2024 murder trial, with unprecedented access to Read, her legal team, and other key voices involved in the case.”
