Fifty Shades of Grey DVD Details and Trailer

Fifty Shades of Grey arrives on DVD and Blu-ray on May 8, 2015 and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s announced the details on the bonus material to be included in the home video release. In addition to the R-rated theatrical version, the Blu-ray combo pack will feature an unrated version with a never-before-seen alternate ending.

The combo pack also includes two hours of new bonus features, including profiles of the film’s stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson along with behind-the-scenes looks at the props and sets.

The Plot:

Ana is an inexperienced college student tasked with interviewing enigmatic billionaire Christian Grey. But what starts as business quickly becomes an unconventional romance. Swept up in Christian’s glamorous lifestyle, Ana soon finds another side to him as she discovers his secrets and explores her own dark desires. What results is a thrilling, all-consuming romance as Christian and Ana test the limits they will go to for their relationship.

So how was James Corden chosen as the new host of The Late Late Show? Kicking off his run as host, Corden revealed that it was all because he found the golden ticket hidden by CBS CEO Leslie Moonves and Oompa Loompas. Candy bars were sent out to celebs rumored to be in the running for the gig, as well as a batch no one had even considered, with Simon Cowell, Joel McHale, George Lopez, Lena Dunham, Billy Crystal, Eddie Redmayne, Katie Couric, and Chris Rock failing to find the ticket. Then Chelsea Handler stops by a newstand, unknowingly dropping the bar with the golden ticket. Corden picked it up and the rest was Late Late Show history.

Boychoir will be opening in theaters on April 3, 2015 and Informant Media’s just released a new trailer and theatrical poster for the dramatic film. The Red Violin‘s Francois Girard directed, with Dustin Hoffman and Garrett Wareing in starring roles. The cast also includes Kathy Bates, Kevin McHale, Eddie Izzard, and Josh Lucas.

The Plot:

A rebellious preteen (Garrett Wareing) with a remarkable gift is challenged by a demanding vocal teacher (Dustin Hoffman) at one of the most prestigious music academies in the country as they prepare for the National Championship.

‘Nashville’ Stars Plan a Spring Concert Tour

Nashville Cast Plans a 2015 Summer Tour

Cast members from ABC’s Nashville will be on the road for a short eight-city tour kicking off on April 29, 2015 in New York City. Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Charles Esten, Aubrey Peeples and Lennon & Maisy are confirmed to perform songs from the show, with Sam Palladio also joining the group for the NY and LA concerts. Jonathan Jackson will be added to the roster for the May 5th show in Chicago, IL.

Tickets go on sale March 27th.

The Nashville Plot:

Nashville is set against the backdrop of the city’s music scene and follows Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. Both women face personal and professional challenges as they navigate their paths as artists and individuals. Surrounding them and often complicating their lives are their family, friends and, in some cases, lovers, as well as the up-and-coming performers and songwriters trying to get ahead in the business. Music City can mean so many things to different people. In Nashville, musicians and songwriters are at the heart of the storm driven by their own ambitions. Some are fueled by their creativity and passion for fame. Others struggle to cope with the pressures of success and doing everything in their power to stay on top.

Entourage New Poster Tells Us to Dream Large

Warner Bros Pictures unveiled a new poster for the movie version of Entourage, based on the characters from the HBO series. The film will hit theaters on June 5, 2015 with Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, Jeremy Piven, and Kevin Connolly back in starring roles and Mark Wahlberg back behind the scenes as an executive producer. The new poster tells everyone to “Dream large. Live Larger” and shows the gang striding from a plane while following behind their leader, Vince (played by Grenier).

Series creator Doug Ellin wrote and directed the big screen adaptation of his hit series. Billy Bob Thorton, Haley Joel Osment, Perrey Reeves, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rhys Coiro, Debi Mazar, Rex Lee, Constance Zimmer, and Nora Dunn co-star in the comedy.

The Plot:

Movie star Vincent Chase (Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Connolly), Turtle (Ferrara) and Johnny (Dillon), are back…and back in business with super agent- turned-studio head Ari Gold (Piven). Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood.

Universal Pictures’ latest behind the scenes look at Furious 7 finds the cast members, including Vin Diesel, explaining what sets this Fast and Furious film apart the previous six F&F films. “That sense of family that exists in the film actually bleeds off-screen, and the whole world gets to feel a part of that family,” explained Diesel. As the cast also makes clear in this two-minute featurette, Furious 7 is also about saying goodbye to Paul Walker and honoring his memory.

Furious 7 opens in theaters on April 3, 2015. In addition to Diesel and Walker, the cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey, Nathalie Emmanuel and Kurt Russell.

History Announces Knights Templar Series, ‘Knightfall’

History Moves Forward on Knightfall

History is teaming up with Jeremy Renner’s production company The Combine and Midnight Radio for a dramatic series based on the Knights Templar and titled Knightfall. The scripted drama from Don Handfield (Kill the Messenger) and Richard Rayner is in development and will be executive produced by Handfield, Rayner, Jeremy Renner, Jeff Pinkner, Andre Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, and Scott Rosenberg.

According to the network, Knightfall will be “chronicling the actual events leading up to and following the persecution, downfall and burning at the stake of the Knights Templar on Friday the 13th, 1307. […] Friday the 13th is known as a cursed day over 700 years later because of this event.”

History’s other series include American Pickers, American Restoration, Ax Men, Counting Cars, Pawn Stars, Swamp People, and Vikings.

Baltasar Kormakur Earns International Filmmaker Award

Director Baltasar Kormákur has been selected as the winner of the 2015 International Filmmaker of the Year award from CinemaCon. This year’s CinemaCon – the annual gathering of National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) – will take place April 20th through April 23rd at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. Kormakur will receive his International Filmmaker of the Year honor on April 20th which has been designated as the convention’s international day.

“Since making his directorial debut Baltasar Kormákur has entertained global audiences, with his thrillingly intense movie making abilities,” said Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon. “His action-packed films keep moviegoers at the edge of their seat and Everest is sure to leave audiences riveted to the screen in anticipation of what will happen next. We couldn’t be more excited to honor him as CinemaCon’s 2015 International Filmmaker of the Year.”

Kormákur’s Everest stars Josh Brolin, Jason Clarke, John Hawke, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robin Wright and Keira Knightley and will open in theaters on September 18, 2015. His credits also include 101 Reykjavik, Contraband, and 2 Guns, and he’s developing the action adventure film Viking.

Following hot on the heels of the teaser trailer release, along with the announcement of the confirmed name of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation for the fifth Mission: Impossible movie, Paramount Pictures has unveiled the full length trailer for the action film starring Tom Cruise. The studio also announced tickets for the movie will go on sale on March 24th through March 27th for the July 30th 7pm IMAX and large theater screenings, along with the 8pm conventional screenings at select theaters. Fans of the series purchasing tickets over those specific days will also receive a code to unlock a HD digital copy of any previous Mission: Impossible film. In addition to Tom Cruise, the fifth MI film features Alec Baldwin, Jeremy Renner, Sean Harris, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Rebecca Ferguson. Christopher McQuarrie directs from a script he wrote along with Drew Pearce, Will Staples, Laeta Kalogridis & Patrick Lussier, and Dylan Kussman.

HBO’s just released details on the first three episodes of Game of Thrones‘ 10-episode fifth season. Game of Thrones kicks off on April 12, 2015 at 9pm ET/PT, with season five of the critically acclaimed series finding Tyrion on the run, Jon Snow dealing with the arrival Stannis Baratheon at the Wall, and the battle for control of King’s Landing continuing between the Lannisters and the Tyrells.

The cast includes Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Aidan Gillen (Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Diana Rigg (Lady Olenna Tyrell), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), and Sophie Turner(Sansa Stark).
