Queen + Adam Lambert Announce New Tour Dates

Due to fan demand, Queen and Adam Lambert have added five more shows to their 2014 tour. The new dates have been added in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Ontario, and tickets will go on sale on March 29th at LiveNation.com.

The new dates:

July 22 – Boston, MA – TD Garden
July 23 – E. Rutherford, NJ – Izod Center
July 25 – Uncasville, CT – Mohegan Sun Arena
July 26 – Atlantic City, NJ – Boardwalk Hall
July 28 – Toronto, ON – Air Canada Centre

“Let’s ROCK those beautiful arenas JUST ONE MORE TIME!” said Brian May. “I’m completely in awe of the Queen phenomenon,” added Lambert. “The thought of sharing the stage for a full set in North America is so beautifully surreal. I’m honored to be able to pay my respects to Freddie’s memory; he’s a personal hero of mine, and I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band. I know this tour will be a huge milestone for me, and with the support of Brian, Roger and the rest of the band, I feel like magic will be on display.”

New Poster Arrives for Cuban Fury

eOne Films has unveiled a new poster for the dance movie Cuban Fury starring Nick Frost, Chris O’Dowd, and Rashida Jones. Cuban Fury was directed by James Griffiths and will be opening in theaters in April 11, 2014.
 
The Plot:


1987: 13-year-old Bruce Garrett, a natural born salsa dancer with fire in his heels and the world at his feet, is perfectly poised to clinch the title at the UK Junior Salsa Championships. But then… a freakish bullying incident on the mean streets of London robs him of his sequins and his confidence, and our young hero finds his life diverted down a very different path.
 
So it is that 25 years later, an adult Bruce Garrett (Nick Frost), finds himself out-of-shape, unloved and emotionally inert – trapped in a downward spiral of self pity. It takes Julia (Rashida Jones), his smart, funny, gorgeous new American boss, to force him to confront the demons of his past and re-examine his passionless existence. Bruce fears it’s an impossible challenge – she’s way out of his league (“She’s a 10, I’m a 2!”) and long held self doubts prove tricky to shed. Luckily for him, Julia also has a secret passion… salsa dancing. Maybe, just maybe, this is his way in…
 
But life is never that easy for Bruce. First he’s got to get past Drew (Chris O’Dowd), the oversexed alphamale of the office and Bruce’s tirelessly taunting team manager. With Drew making no secret of his desire to make Julia his latest conquest, Bruce is forced into action and brought face-to-face with his darkest and most powerful inner demons.
 
Somehow, with a lot of handholding from loyal sister Sam (Olivia Colman), his old mentor Ron (Ian McShane) and crazy new amateur salsa pal Bejan (Novak) Bruce must learn to unshackle his dancing beast, regain his long lost fury and claim the love of his life… and he’s got to do it all On The Dance Floor…

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher Are Expecting a Baby

Former That ’70s Show co-stars Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are expecting their first child together, so says a report from E News. The couple got engaged last month but, for the most part, have been keeping their relationship out of the public eye as much as possible.

If the news is correct, the baby will be the first child for both Kunis (30) and Kutcher (36). Kutcher was formerly married to Demi Moore and grew close to her three children with ex-husband Bruce Willis: Rumor, Scout LaRue, and Tallulah Belle Willis. Kutcher and Moore’s divorce became final late last year.

Currently, Kutcher’s been keeping busy with Two and a Half Men. Kunis recently completed work on Jupiter Ascending and The Angriest Man in Brooklyn.

Dree Brees and WWE Team Up for Charity

WWE LogoNFL superstar Drew Brees and WWE are working together on Superstars for Kids to benefit Brees’ charity The Brees Dream Foundation along with the Boys & Girls Clubs. They’ve launched a special online auction of WWE, athletes, and celebrities items including a guitar signed by Maroon 5, lunch with Charlie Sheen, and a chance to be on a podcast with WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin.

HBO’s Game of Thrones has released two more season four videos, both of which drum the whole “All Men Must Die” theme into our heads in case we’d forgotten how fond George R.R. Martin is of killing off characters. The first trailer is a mish-mash of characters while the second finds Jon Snow (Kit Harington) talking about how much the world has changed in the past year.

Warner Bros is Going Into the Storm in August

Warner Bros Pictures is launching Into the Storm in theaters on August 8, 2014 and to get the advance word out, the studio mailed an Into the Storm-themed Emergency Preparedness Kit with all sorts of survival goodies. Included in the red and black backpack was an emergency blanket along with a first aid kit with water, a wind-up flashlight, and even some playing cards for when you get bored waiting for help and/or the emergency situation to be over.
 
The film stars Richard Armitage, Sarah Wayne Callies (of The Walking Dead, which also recently released a zombie apocalypse survival kit), Matt Walsh, Alycia Debnam-Carey, and Arlen Escarpeta. Steven Quale (Final Destination 5) directed the action drama which will be debuting its first trailer later this week.
 
The Into the Storm Plot:
 
In the span of a single day, the town of Silverton is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run towards the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot. Told through the eyes and lenses of professional storm chasers, thrill-seeking amateurs, and courageous townspeople, Into the Storm throws you directly into the eye of the storm to experience Mother Nature at her most extreme.

‘Fairies’ Took Over Disney Studios for a Red Carpet Premiere

Voice cast members Christina Hendricks, Mae Whitman, and Carlos Ponce joined director Peggy Holmes on the red carpet at Walt Disney Studios for the March 22, 2014 premiere of the animated comedy The Pirate Fairy. Unfortunately, Tom Hiddleston couldn’t make the special event, but other celebs showed up to celebrate the film’s release on DVD and Blu-ray on April 1st.

Among the celebrities on hand to show off their admiration of fairies were Rowan Blanchard, Samantha Harris, Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Ali Landry, Eva Bella, Kari Wahlgren, and Maitland Ward.

Music Spotlight: “You Lift Me Up” by Mikey Wax

Singer/songwriter Mikey Wax has just released a new single, “You Lift Me Up,” an upbeat track with simple lyrics and a catchy beat. The rock/pop singer’s been interested in music since he was a kid, loves The Beatles and Elton John, and has had his songs featured on the 2012 Summer Olympics, Pretty Little Liars, and So You Think You Can Dance. He recently signed with Universal Music’s subsidiary label Toucan Cove and his next album will be released this year.

HBO Sets a Premiere Date for Billy Crystal’s 700 Sundays

HBO will debut Billy Crystal’s 700 Sundays on April 19, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT. The six-time Emmy winner/award-winning writer’s two-hour two-act play was taped in front of a live audience in January 2014 and finds Crystal playing multiple characters who’ve greatly influenced him over the years. According to HBO’s description, 700 Sundays is “about family and fate, loving and loss.”
 
“Billy Crystal has been a beloved member of the HBO family for more than three decades,” said Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. “It’s thrilling to us that he decided to let us film this legendary theatrical event.” 700 Sundays marks Crystal’s sixth HBO solo special following On Location, A Comics Line, Don’t Get Me Started, The Lost Minutes, and Midnight Train to Moscow).
 
“I am thrilled to be back home at HBO. I always felt this would be the last time I would perform 700 Sundays. Taping it so more people can see the play is very exciting. Most importantly, my grandchildren and others to come will get to know about our family and its unique history.”
 
Additional airdates include April 21 (noon, 8:00 p.m.), 24 (1:00 p.m., 1:05 a.m.), 27 (5:15 p.m.) and 29 (9:30 a.m., 7:00 p.m.), and May 3 (2:00 p.m., 12:55 a.m.), 6 (6:00 p.m.), 9 (9:30 a.m.), 14 (3:00 p.m.), 18 (noon) and 26 (10:15 p.m.). ‘The Other Woman’ Releases an Emoji-Filled Trailer

20th Century Fox is delivering the first-ever Emoji trailer in support of the female-driven relationship comedy, The Other Woman. Smiles, frowny faces, monkeys, tears, and other Emojis are featured in this new The Other Woman trailer starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton.

Directed by Nick Cassavetes, The Other Woman also features Game of Thrones‘ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Taylor Kinney, and Nicki Minaj.

The Other Woman opens in theaters on April 25, 2014.

The Plot: After discovering her boyfriend is married, a woman (Cameron Diaz) tries to get her ruined life back on track. But when she accidentally meets the wife he’s been cheating on (Leslie Mann), she realizes they have much in common, and her sworn enemy becomes her greatest friend. When yet another affair is discovered (Kate Upton), all three women team up to plot mutual revenge on their cheating, lying, three-timing SOB.
