Budweiser once again pulls off a winning ad with their 2013 Super Bowl commercial. The cuteness factor is at an all-time high as the video starts off with a seven-day-old foal who, over the course of the commercial, grows up to be one of Budweiser’s famous Clydesdales. But the little guy never forgets the man who raised him.
Time Warner Super Bowl Commercial – The Walking Dead
Don’t you just hate it when you’re cleaning up your house and zombies just mess it up all over again? Time Warner’s Super Bowl commercial makes good use of the walking dead, but the real pay-off is an appearance by Norman Reedus! The Walking Dead‘s Daryl – one of the show’s most popular characters – makes a mess and then sheepishly apologizes.

‘Iron Man 3’ Super Bowl Trailer
Marvel’s Super Bowl commercial for Iron Man 3 was, to put it gently, underwhelming. Debuting during the big game, we expected big things from this latest trailer for the much-anticipated action film, but it just didn’t deliver (although there is an extended trailer up on the film’s Facebook page). The trailer broadcast during the Super Bowl features Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man following passengers free-falling from a damaged Air Force One and then discovering, courtesy of Jarvis, that he can only carry four of the 13 to safety.
Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau, and Ben Kingsley, and will be in theaters on May 3, 2013.
‘Fast and Furious 6’ Super Bowl Trailer and New Poster
Universal Pictures finally launched the first trailer for Fast & Furious 6, opting to debut the action-heavy first look at the sixth film of the F&F franchise during the 2013 Super Bowl. The trailer showed off a sampling of the film’s over-the-top stunts as well as provided a bit of an insight into the story.
Was it effective? Yes, in that it spotlighted the cars – and sexy women – feeding the fan base what it wants out of a Fast and Furious movie.
F&F players Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and Elsa Pataky return for more high-octane action, joined by franchise newcomers Luke Evans and Gina Carano.

The Plot:
Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.
Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.
Fast & Furious 6 hits theaters on May 24, 2013.
‘Oz The Great and Powerful’ Super Bowl Trailer

Flying monkey alert! If they freak you out as much as they do me, you may not want to check out the new Oz The Great and Powerful trailer that premiered during the 2013 Super Bowl. Of course, if you don’t watch the new trailer, then you’ll be missing out on seeing new shots of the witches as well as some cool special effects.
Coming to theaters on March 8, 2013, Oz The Great and Powerful was directed by Sam Raimi and stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams, and Zach Braff.
The Plot:
Disney’s fantastical adventure Oz The Great and Powerful, directed by Sam Raimi, imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum’s beloved wizard character. When Oscar Diggs (Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot — fame and fortune are his for the taking — that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Kunis), Evanora (Weisz) and Glinda (Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting.
Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity — and even a bit of wizardry — Oscar transforms himself not only into the great wizard but into a better man as well.
Super Bowl Commercial: Oreo Whisper Fight
Half an hour into the game one of the funniest commercials of the 2013 Super Bowl telecast arrived: Oreo Whisper Fight. The ad finds two men sitting across a table from each other and quietly arguing over which is the best part of an oreo – the creme or the cookie. Their quiet fight quickly escalates into an all-out brawl, with library patrons pushing over shelves, breaking chairs over one another’s heads, smashing lights, and jumping from the second story.
And all of this is done without a single raised voice. The cops arrive to stop the melee, using their quiet voices as they try to restore peace.
‘The Lone Ranger’ Super Bowl Trailer
“If we ride together, we ride for justice.” – The Lone Ranger
“Justice is what I seek, Kemosabe.” – Tonto
So Disney didn’t kick off the marketing campaign for The Lone Ranger with a bang, instead serving up a first trailer that was too reminiscent of Will Smith’s Wild, Wild West. But with each successive trailer, the film has taken shape and come into its own.
Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer star in this much-anticipated summer action-adventure film, and Disney’s showing off new footage as well as more of a backstory with this trailer which debuted during the 2013 Super Bowl pre-game show.
The Lone Ranger Plot:
From producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski, the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, comes Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ The Lone Ranger, a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.
The Lone Ranger arrives on July 3, 2013.

Jenna Dewan and Rachel Boston Star in ‘Witches of East End’

Witches are coming back to the small screen with Lifetime’s Witches of East End. ABC’s Eastwick starring Rebecca Romijn, Lindsay Price, Jon Bernthal, Sara Rue, and Jack Huston proved to be a short-lived experiment, canceled in its first season. However, Lifetime believes they can make witches work, ordering 10 episodes of the Fox 21-produced drama Witches of East End starring Julia Ormond, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Rachel Boston, and Mädchen Amick.
The network is planning on premiering the show later this year.
Announcing the series, Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President, Programming of Lifetime Networks stated: “We’ve been thrilled about Witches of East End and its powerful premise since the moment we bought the property, and our friends at Fox 21 helped develop it for television. This is one of the most exciting ensemble casts we’ve seen and the whole show is fresh, original and just right for Lifetime.”
Mark Waters, who was recently announced as director of the first Vampire Academy film, directed the pilot, and is on board as executive producer. Eastwick‘s Maggie Friedman wrote the pilot.
The Plot:
Based on Melissa de la Cruz’s best-selling novel, Witches of East End centers on the adventures of Joanna Beauchamp (Ormond) and her two adult daughters Freya (Dewan) and Ingrid (Boston) — both of whom unknowingly are their family’s next generation of witches — who lead seemingly quiet, uneventful modern day lives in Long Island’s secluded seaside town of East Haven. When Freya becomes engaged to a young, wealthy newcomer, a series of events forces Joanna to admit to her daughters they are, in fact, powerful and immortal witches. Amick stars as Joanna’s mischievous witch sister Wendy.
First Look: ‘Snap’ with Thomas Dekker

Thomas Dekker appears to be screaming in Jake Hoffman’s ear in this first photo from Snap, debuting at the 2013 South by Southwest Film Festival. Directed by Youssef Delara and Victor Teran, the cast of Snap includes Hoffman, Dekker, Nikki Reed (the Twilight series), Scott Bakula, and Jason Priestley.
The Plot:
A psychological thriller set against the underground dubstep DJ scene that takes the audience on a dark and terrifying journey into the depths of the psychopathic mind as it threatens to explode into horrific violence.
