Michael Bay Debuts Pain and Gain Trailer

Director Michael Bay opted to premiere the new trailer for Pain & Gain, the action comedy/thriller starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayn Johnson, and Anthony Mackie, on his official website MichaelBay.com. Based on a true story, the film follows a group of bodybuilders who are part of a kidnapping and extortion ring.

Bruno Mars was among the big name talent taking to the stage prior to the announcement of season three’s winner on the December 18, 2012 episode of NBC’s The Voice. Mars performed his single “When I Was Your Man” off of his just-released album, Unorthodox Jukebox.

Other musical acts performing during the season three finale included The Killers, Kelly Clarkson, and Rihanna.

Drew Barrymore Visits Chelsea Lately and Plays Pinot Pong

Drew Barrymore showed off her wines on the December 18, 2012 episode of Chelsea Lately, but at least she promoted her product via an entertaining game with show host Chelsea Handler. We’ve all heard of beer pong, right? Well, Barrymore and Handler took it to a new level with Pinot Pong.

Jay Mohr Joins Fox Sports Radio

Jay Mohr SportsActor/comedian Jay Mohr has signed on to FOX Sports Radio as the new midday host. Fox Sports made the announcement, confirming Mohr as the new host of the 12-3pm ET weekday show now called “Jay Mohr Sports.” He’ll be debuting as host on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
 
“After spending the last 15 years guest hosting, I couldn’t be happier to get the opportunity to host my own show!” stated Mohr. “I’m looking forward to talking sports, connecting with listeners, and interviewing amazing guests every day, while being a part of the FOX Sports Radio family. It was worth the wait.”

‘The Voice’ Coaches Sing “Time of Your Life”

All four of The Voice coaches sat down to sing Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” on the third season finale of NBC’s popular show. Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green will be leaving the show to work on their music for at least one season, but The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will be back turning around their chairs for stand-out singers on season four.

As a send-off, the four coaches took center stage to help bring season three to a close.

First Look: To the Wonder Trailer

Terrence Malick’s To the Wonder debuted at festivals in 2012 and will released in theaters in 2013 via Magnolia Pictures. And as with most of Malick’s films, the trailer will leave you wondering what the movie’s actually about.
 
The Plot:
 
To the Wonder tells the story of Marina (Olga Kurylenko) and Neil (Ben Affleck), who meet in France and move to Oklahoma to start a life together, where problems soon arise. While Marina makes the acquaintance of a priest and fellow exile (Javier Bardem), who is struggling with his vocation, Neil renews a relationship with a childhood sweetheart, Jane (Rachel McAdams). Bold and lyrical, the film is a moving, gorgeously shot exploration of love in its many forms.

Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell Returns for Season Two

Food Network is bringing back Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell for a 13-episode second season kicking off on January 31, 2013 at 10pm. The superstar chef will once again be putting chefs through a rigorous series of tests as she prepares them for potentially nabbing a job as executive chef in a prominent restaurant.
 
“Anne’s culinary savvy and tough love come together to put these aspiring Executive Chefs through the toughest job interview they’ll ever face,” stated Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network. “She brings out the best in these chefs, and viewers can’t help but root for their success.”
 
The Details:
 
Over the thirteen-episode season, determined chefs from across the country are put through unpredictable culinary challenges. Whether it’s a test of their Italian scratch cooking skills and their knowledge of the regional cuisine at the immense Tuscan Kitchen in New Hampshire; assessing their ability to work with the scraps of high-end ingredients while creating a whole new menu for Mirabelle Restaurant in Los Angeles; or challenging their creativity by preparing a gourmet version of a traditional Puerto Rican dish for Oceano’s menu in Puerto Rico, each chef will devote blood, sweat and tears to prove to Anne that they are qualified to be Executive Chef.

Disney Debuts ‘Frozen’ Concept Art

Walt Disney Animation Studios has unveiled the concept art for their 2013 animated comedy Frozen featuring the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Frozen will hit theaters on November 27, 2013.

The Plot: From the studio behind 2010’s Tangled and this year’s Wreck-It Ralph, Walt Disney Animation Studios presents Frozen, the coolest comedy-adventure ever to hit the big screen. When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell.

Encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
