Terrence Malick’s To the Wonder debuted at festivals in 2012 and will released in theaters in 2013 via Magnolia Pictures. And as with most of Malick’s films, the trailer will leave you wondering what the movie’s actually about.
The Plot:
To the Wonder tells the story of Marina (Olga Kurylenko) and Neil (Ben Affleck), who meet in France and move to Oklahoma to start a life together, where problems soon arise. While Marina makes the acquaintance of a priest and fellow exile (Javier Bardem), who is struggling with his vocation, Neil renews a relationship with a childhood sweetheart, Jane (Rachel McAdams). Bold and lyrical, the film is a moving, gorgeously shot exploration of love in its many forms.

Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell Returns for Season Two
Food Network is bringing back Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell for a 13-episode second season kicking off on January 31, 2013 at 10pm. The superstar chef will once again be putting chefs through a rigorous series of tests as she prepares them for potentially nabbing a job as executive chef in a prominent restaurant.
“Anne’s culinary savvy and tough love come together to put these aspiring Executive Chefs through the toughest job interview they’ll ever face,” stated Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network. “She brings out the best in these chefs, and viewers can’t help but root for their success.”
The Details:
Over the thirteen-episode season, determined chefs from across the country are put through unpredictable culinary challenges. Whether it’s a test of their Italian scratch cooking skills and their knowledge of the regional cuisine at the immense Tuscan Kitchen in New Hampshire; assessing their ability to work with the scraps of high-end ingredients while creating a whole new menu for Mirabelle Restaurant in Los Angeles; or challenging their creativity by preparing a gourmet version of a traditional Puerto Rican dish for Oceano’s menu in Puerto Rico, each chef will devote blood, sweat and tears to prove to Anne that they are qualified to be Executive Chef.

Disney Debuts ‘Frozen’ Concept Art
Walt Disney Animation Studios has unveiled the concept art for their 2013 animated comedy Frozen featuring the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel. Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, Frozen will hit theaters on November 27, 2013.
The Plot: From the studio behind 2010’s Tangled and this year’s Wreck-It Ralph, Walt Disney Animation Studios presents Frozen, the coolest comedy-adventure ever to hit the big screen. When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell.
Encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
The Playroom Goes to Freestyle Releasing
Commenting on the acquisition, Susan Jackson, President of Freestyle, stated: “Julia Dyer has created a beautiful time machine back to the 70s. The film is a bird’s eye view of a tumultuous period told from the perspective of children.”
Freestyle’s set a February 8, 2013 theatrical and VOD/DVD release date.

Upstairs in the attic she tells them fantastical stories, but only to mask what is happening downstairs. As her hard-drinking parents, Martin and Donna (Hawkes and Parker), entertain guests, Maggie grapples with their flawed choices and is thrust into a world she might not be ready for.

Hall of Game Awards Nominees Announced
The first 10 categories and nominees have been announced for the third annual Hall of Game awards. Hosted by Shaquille O’Neal and Nick Cannon, the sports awards show will air on several Cartoon Network and Turner Broadcasting platforms in February 2013.

Details on Season 11 of Project Runway
For the first time, Project Runway is mixing things up by teaming up the contestants. Season 11 of the Lifetime series debuts on January 24, 2013 with 16 designers featured in a special “Teams Edition” of the popular reality competition series. The designer teams will have to work together on every challenge “while ensuring their own garments stand out on the runway.”
Heidi Klum’s hosting and judging the competition along with Marie Claire’s Marie Claire’s Fashion Director Nina Garcia and featured judge, award-winning fashion designer Zac Posen. Guest judges will include Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon, Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Joan and Melissa Rivers, Emmy Rossum, Kristin Davis, Jordana Brewster, and designer Rachel Roy. And Tim Gunn’s back as a mentor to the designers.
Season 11’s winner will receive “$100,000 from L’Oréal Paris to start his/her own line, a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine, a 2013 Lexus GS 350, a $50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel to create his/her own vision and run his/her business and the opportunity to design and sell an exclusive collection at Lord & Taylor. The model paired with the winner of Project Runway will also appear in the designer’s Marie Claire editorial feature and receive $25,000 from L’Oréal Paris EverStyle.”
