We’re excited to transport audiences Under the Dome and into the extraordinary world that Stephen King has imagined.”

The Plot [Courtesy of StephenKing.com]:
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester’s Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener’s hand is severed as “the dome” comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when—or if—it will go away.
Dale Barbara, Iraq vet and now a short-order cook, finds himself teamed with a few intrepid citizens—town newspaper owner Julia Shumway, a physician’s assistant at the hospital, a selectwoman, and three brave kids. Against them stands Big Jim Rennie, a politician who will stop at nothing—even murder—to hold the reins of power, and his son, who is keeping a horrible secret in a dark pantry. But their main adversary is the Dome itself. Because time isn’t just short. It’s running out.

‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Season 5 Episode 10 Preview

R2-D2 joins with the Republican droids in the December 1, 2012 episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars airing at 9:30am on Cartoon Network.
The “Secret Weapons” Plot: This Saturday marks the beginning of a new story arc on Star Wars: The Clone Wars. R2-D2 is part of a team of Republic droids chosen for an important mission led by the diminutive Colonel Gascon (voiced by Stephen Stanton) to obtain an encryption module from a Separatist dreadnought. The droids must overcome numerous challenging obstacles to succeed in this crucial assignment in “Secret Weapons.”
Episode Trivia:
- The opening logo on the episodes of this arc is blue rather than the traditional yellow, as a tribute to R2-D2.
- The Jedi Knights seen accompanying their droids during the war room briefing are Anakin Skywalker (with R2-D2), Aayla Secura (with QT-KT), Thongla Jur (with U9-C4) and Tera Sinube (with M5-BZ).
- WAC-47’s master is Clone Commander Neyo, a trooper first seen on Saleucami in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.
- QT-KT is inspired by R2-KT, a pink astromech droid created by Star Wars fans in tribute to Katie Johnson, daughter of Albin Johnson, founder of the 501st Legion. The droid, who is now dedicated to the memory of the late Katie, makes appearances at children’s hospitals. Though R2-KT previously appeared in The Clone Wars movie, Qutee is a separate droid to avoid having two droids named “Artoo” on the same mission.
- The hazard labels on R2-D2’s enhanced booster rockets read: “WARNING: Supercharger boost must not exceed 150 percent” and “KEEP BACK.”
- Dr. Gubacher is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who fans will recognize as the voice of all of the clones as well as numerous other series characters.

Check Out a New ‘Django Unchained’ Trailer
The Weinstein Company’s showing off a new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Hitting theaters on Christmas, Django Unchained could be a late entry in the Oscar Best Picture sweepstakes – if it lives up to the pre-release buzz.
The Plot: Set in the South two years before the Civil War, Django Unchained stars Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles – dead or alive.
Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.
Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (Academy Award®-nominee Leonardo DiCaprio), the proprietor of “Candyland,” an infamous plantation. Exploring the compound under false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen (Academy Award®-nominee Samuel L. Jackson), Candie’s trusted house slave. Their moves are marked, and a treacherous organization closes in on them. If Django and Schultz are to escape with Broomhilda, they must choose between independence and solidarity, between sacrifice and survival…
Investigation Discovery Puts a Wicked Twist on the Holidays

Nightmare Christmas Stories:
It’s Not Christmas Yet!
Newlyweds Shawn and Amber Johnson are excited about celebrating their first Christmas together. With the holiday still a week away, the couple already has presents for one another nestled under the Christmas tree. But not all is merry in this new marriage. One night, Amber and Shawn get into an argument. She storms out to find solace at a local bar. When she returns home, it’s to their apartment in shambles and all of the presents ripped open. And there’s Shawn, greeting her decked out in his new Christmas shoes, new coat, and new jeans! The already intoxicated, agitated Amber becomes downright infuriated. She grabs a butcher knife and stabs Shawn in the chest. But does it land a lump of coal in her stocking?
Thou Shall Not Steal
Hundreds of people are packed into pews at the Church of St. Mel in Queens for the annual Christmas Mass. As they listen intently to the holiday sermon, two young men disguised as elevator repairmen slip into the church’s back halls without suspicion. They are looking for a lock box holding more than $20,000 of Christmas collection money. The thieves grab the box and make out the back of the building, feeling very jolly about their good fortune. They think they’ve gotten away with the best gift of all, but a street-savvy witness has been watching their every move. A bizarre twist in this Christmas crime eventually leads police to the suspects’ front door.
A Christmas Miracle
Harold Donald’s mother is surprised when he comes home one day with an early Christmas gift. She opens the box to find a plush green robe with an exotic cat emblazoned on the back. Not necessarily her style, but it’s the thought that counts, right? What she doesn’t notice is that the robe has something else on it… blood. The night before Harold got the gift, Seattle couple Sandra and Gordon McWhirter were awakened by a noise in the middle of the night. Gordon dons his robe and goes to check on the noise outside, where he encounters two men breaking into his Jeep. They viciously attack Gordon, leaving him pounded to the pavement then comatose in the hospital, where his wife hopes for a Christmas miracle. Police trace prints left at the crime scene to the home of Harold’s mother. She’s been enjoying her Christmas gift, even wearing the robe out to run errands, but now it’s what police need to get their Grinch.

Pacific Rim Viral Marketing Campaign is in Full Swing
Warner Bros Pictures has launched the viral marketing campaign for Guillermo del Toro’s monsters versus robots film, Pacific Rim, with a choppy newsreel/found footage video of an attack by ‘Kaiju’ on San Francisco. According to the reporter, the creature emerged from under the Golden Gate Bridge and cut a 3-mile wide path of destruction through the city before being brought down.
The real first trailer for Pacific Rim starring Charlie Hunnam, Ron Perlman, Rinko Kikuchi, Idris Elba, and Charlie Day is expected to be released on December 12th. The film will hit theaters on July 12, 2013.
Watch the video:
The Plot:
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are co
ntrolled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
