Comedy Central’s long-running animated series, South Park, is premiering a brand new Halloween episode on October 24th at 10pm. The special episode titled “A Nightmare on Facetime” will feature a very pissed-off Stan.
The plot: “The boys are all ready to dress up as their favorite foursome, the Avengers, for Halloween. After months of planning their costumes, at the last minute Randy tells Stan he can’t go trick or treating with his friends. Instead, Stan has to pitch in and help his father with a new business venture.”
South Park premiered on August 13, 1997 (can you believe it’s been around that long?) and is executive produced by series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Check Out 3 New ‘Wreck-It Ralph Videos

Disney’s just released three new “Litwak’s Arcade commercials” promoting the family-friendly, arcade game-centric, animated movie Wreck-It Ralph. Hitting theaters on November 2, 2012, the voice cast includes John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Mindy Kaling, Joe Lo Truglio, Ed O’Neill, Dennis Haysbert, Adam Carolla, Rachael Harris, Edie McClurg, Horatio Sanz, and Stefanie Scott.
The Plot:
For decades, Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) has been overshadowed by Fix-It Felix, Jr. (voice of Jack McBrayer), the good-guy star of their game who always gets to save the day. Tired of playing the role of a bad guy, Ralph takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a journey across the arcade through multiple generations of video games to prove he’s got what it takes to be a hero.
On his quest, Ralph meets tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch) from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty, and feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) from the candy-coated cart-racing game Sugar Rush, who may just be his first real friend. But everything changes when a deadly enemy is unleashed, threatening the entire arcade and Vanellope herself. Ralph finally gets his chance to save the day—but can he do it in time? “Wreck-It Ralph” crashes onto the big screen on November 2, 2012, in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.

Natasha Henstridge and CJ Adams Join ‘Against the Wild’

Natasha Henstridge and CJ Adams (The Odd Life of Timothy Green) have been added to the cast of Against the Wild, a family-oriented action film shooting in Ontario. Directed, written, produced and edited by Richard Boddington, Against the Wild is expecting to wrap up filming in November.
“We’re privileged to have cast CJ following his terrific performance in Timothy Green, and Natasha always brings a remarkable presence to her roles. It’s been a great experience working with both of them to film an inspiring family movie against the natural beauty of Canada,” said Boddington.
Commenting on his casting, CJ Adams said, “It’s a really nice family movie, and I’ve always wanted a dog of my own. You should never take your family for granted.”
The Plot: In Against the Wild, Zach (CJ Adams) and Hannah Wade (Erin Pitt) are flying north to visit their father, the vice president of a mining operation. Accompanying Zach and Hannah on the journey is their Alaskan Malamute, Chinook. En route, the plane crashes in the wilderness. Zach and Hannah go off in search of help for the injured pilot.
Deep in the woods, Chinook proves himself to be a highly valuable companion as he defends the kids from wolves and a grizzly bear, and rescues Hannah after she falls into white water rapids. When a raging forest fire causes a search to be called off, the children’s parents take matters into their own hands to find them.

The Monster and His Bride are Back on the Big Screen

By Kevin Finnerty
“Look! It’s moving. You see, it’s moving. It’s Alive…It’s ALIVE!,” screams Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive) in the original 1931 horror/shocker film Frankenstein which returns to the big screen along with its sequel, The Bride of Frankenstein, for one night only this October.
Just in time to get ready and in the mood for Halloween, Turner Classic Movies and Universal Pictures along with NCM Fathom Events are presenting a Creepy Double Feature in movie theaters nationwide. On Wednesday, October 24th at 7:00PM (local time) to celebrate Universal’s 100th Anniversary, the horror classic Frankenstein, which made actor Boris Karloff famous worldwide for his terrifying and sympathetic performance of the Monster, returns to movie theaters. Newly restored, it will be followed by its equally terrifying sequel starring, once again, Karloff as Dr. Frankenstein’s Monster and with Elsa Lanchester in two roles: the famous author of the novel Frankenstein, Mary Shelley, and The Bride.
Before the horror films begin, the audience will be treated to a special produced piece with Turner Classic Movies Host Robert Osborne and his exclusive interviews with Karloff’s daughter, Sara Karloff, and actor Bela Lugosi’s son – Bela Lugosi Jr. Also joining the event is Academy Award winning make-up artist Rick Baker. Some of the topics that will be discussed are how Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi became the titans of terror and helped define the horror genre, how other filmmakers have been influenced by their work and how Universal Pictures forever changed horror films.
So this October, don’t miss your chance to spend some eerie, creepy, terrifying time with the Monster and his mate up on the silver screen. It’s just what the mad doctor ordered for getting ready for Halloween.

ET is Immortalized in Wax

Sorry, this E.T. can’t phone home as he’s completely made of wax. Madame Tussauds five locations have unveiled E.T. wax likenesses in support of the film’s 30th anniversary and its release on Blu-ray. Created in London, the E.T. figure made its way to its LA home with a trail of Reese’s Pieces leading bicyclists down Hollywood Blvd and up to the door of Madame Tussauds Hollywood.
“We are delighted to be welcoming one of the greatest movie characters of all time to the attraction. We’re also absolutely certain that our guests are going to love the unique opportunity to ‘star’ in one of the most famous films ever made,” stated Nicky Marsh, Madame Tussauds Global Marketing Director.
The E.T. sculptures took two months to complete and cost $80,000 to produce.
