Barbra Streisand Unveils a New Music Video

Songs that never made it onto any of Barbra Streisand’s previous albums are finally being released, including “I Think It’s Going to Rain Today” written by Randy Newman and recorded during her 1971 Stoney End sessions. And Streisand, coming to theaters at the end of the year opposite Seth Rogen in The Guilt Trip, just unveiled the music video for “I Think It’s Going to Rain Today.”

“I Think It’s Going to Rain Today” is off of Streisand’s upcoming album Release Me (available on October 9th). The album features 11 unreleased songs spanning her career from 1963 to the present.

Commenting on the album, Streisand said, “The thing I’m happiest about is that I still have great affection for all these songs. They appealed to me at the time… and still do. Listening now, I actually think to myself, ‘The girl wasn’t half bad.’”

The Adele Skyfall Theme Song is Here!

Adele Skyfall Theme
Adele's "Skyfall", Official Theme Song To Latest James Bond 007 Feature SKYFALL(TM) (PRNewsFoto/Columbia Records)

Adele’s theme song for the new James Bond film, Skyfall, has now officially been released (it was leaked illegally earlier this week). And let’s just say thank you, thank you, thank you to the powers that be behind the decision to get classy and bring in Adele to handle the song for the 23rd Bond film.

Adele premiered the song on her website complete with a lyric music video:

The release of Adele’s song was planned to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the release of Dr. No. Marking the occasion, October 5th has been designated as Global James Bond Day.

Commenting on her involvement, Adele stated: “I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall. There’s a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul [Epworth, her co-writer] had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no brainer to do it in the end. It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I’ve never done, which made it exciting. When we recorded the strings it was one of the proudest moments of my life. I’ll be back combing my hair when I’m 60 telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day I’m sure!”

The Skyfall theme song features a 77 piece orchestra and was recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

Skyfall hits theaters on the October 26, 2012 in the UK and on November 9, 2012 in the U.S.

The Plot:

In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Check Out the A Good Day to Die Hard Teaser Trailer

There’s no better way to spend a romantic Valentine’s Day evening than to watch things get blown up and people get blown away, right? 20th Century Fox is hoping audiences will opt for action over romance by releasing the 913th fifth Die Hard movie, A Good Day to Die Hard, on Feburary 14, 2013.

The teaser trailer, which debuted on Yahoo, is all about the action – as it should be. Seriously, who goes to a Die Hard movie for the dialogue and the plot? Directed by John Moore, this new Die Hard finds Bruce Willis back as ‘John McClane’ (it wouldn’t be a Die Hard movie without him) along with support from Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir, Cole Hauser, and Amaury Nolasco.
