Showtime President David Nevins made the announcement about the during the Television Critics Association summer press tour.
Nevins wouldn’t give away any clues as to how the cancer comedy starring Laura Linney would end. He did say it’s important for the network that all of its series are able to plan and executive their endings the right way. Commenting on the four episode one-hour final The Big C season, Nevins said, “They’ve got a very interesting and novel – and I think sort of form-breaking – way to handle where the show is going.”

Tom Daley and the GB Diving Team Do ‘Sexy And I Know It’
Apparently it’s not all work and no play for the British diving team. Tom Daley, one of the more popular athletes at the 2012 London Olympics, joined his fellow Team GB members in showing off their bodies and their dance moves in this “Sexy And I Know It” (LMFAO Lip Sync) video posted by Tom Daley’s official site (www.tomdaley.tv).
Posted in February 2012, the video has 1.1 million views (that number’s sure to climb following Daley’s time in the spotlight during the 2012 Olympics).
Lifetime Readies HR Pilot
Human Resources…when was the last time a television series was set in the world of any company’s HR department? Lifetime’s hoping there’s an audience that wants to see a human resources series as they’ve just given the greenlight to the HR (that title could change) pilot.
Glenn Porter (I Melt with You) wrote the script with Kapital Entertainment (Terra Nova, The Neighbors, GCB) on board as executive producers.
The Plot:
In Lifetime TV’s HR, after a head injury alters her outlook on life, the uptight Director of Human Resources for a global company throws standard corporate practices out the window and inspires the business to strive for new ambitions and profits. Her newly liberated managerial style and untraditional female point-of-view in a predominately male company is a welcome relief to some, while others see it as a threat to their power and position within the corporate structure — testing the workplace relationships inside and out of this seemingly traditional office.

The Expendables 2 Behind the Scenes Video
In this behind the scenes featurette from The Expendables 2, Sylvester Stallone explains that most action films now are very technical and with this sequel they’re trying to bring back the old time rock ‘n roll. Heading to theaters on August 17, 2012, this sequel promises more action, more things getting blown up, and even more star-power.
The Plot:
The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal…
Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) — with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard — are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time — six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother.
That is done the Expendables way….

Grammy winner Ricky Martin’s signed up with Universal Television to develop and star in his first-ever network television series and specials. Teasing the Paranormal Activity 4 Trailer
When did studios decide to do trailers teasing the upcoming release of a trailer? It’s the new thing and it seems really bizarre to me. Why not just release the actual trailer? The latest film to succumb to the trailer tease craze is Paranormal Activity 4, a film which – let’s be honest here – doesn’t really need a trailer to sell it to audiences. If you watched Paranormal Activity 1 through 3, odds are you’re going to see Paranormal Activity 4.
The real trailer will be revealed on August 1st, but here’s the tease.
