Focus Features will be releasing Anna Karenina, directed by Joe Wright (Hanna, Atonement, Pride & Prejudice) and based on the classic Leo Tolstoy novel, on November 9, 2012 – in the heart of the “Oscar consideration” season. Starring Keira Knightley, Jude Law, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kelly Macdonald, and Matthew Macfadyen, Anna Karenina was adapted for the screen by Shakespeare in Love‘s Tom Stoppard.
The Plot:
The story unfolds in its original late-19th-century Russia high-society setting and powerfully explores the capacity for love that surges through the human heart, from the passion between adulterers to the bond between a mother and her children. As Anna (Knightley) questions her happiness, change comes to her family, friends, and community.

Yes, it’s true – there will be a The Hangover Part 3. Legendary Entertainment has just posted this teaser on their Facebook page, promising the third Hangover will arrive in May 2013. This time around the Wolfpack (Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms) will be heading to Tijuana where we assume someone will have to be rescued (we hear it’s Galifianakis’ character needing to be broken out of a mental institution, but that’s not confirmed), a random animal will be involved in the gang’s hijinx, and Ken Jeong as Mr. Chow will steal the show.
007(TM) Legends has lined up an impressive collection of actors who’ve been a part of the Bond film franchise. Activision Publishing Inc announced 007(TM) Legends will feature Daniel Craig – the current Bond, James Bond – as well as Bond talent Michael Lonsdale, Naomie Harris (Skyfall) and Richard Kiel.
Lonsdale (Moonraker) will reprise his role as Hugo Drax and Kiel (Moonraker, The Spy Who Loved Me) will once again be Jaws. Rory Kinnear (Skyfall, Quantum of Solace) will provide the voice of Bill Tanner, MI6’s Chief of Staff.
Bruce Feirstein (The World Is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, GoldenEye) wrote 007 Legends’ storyline. Bond film composer David Arnold (Die Another Day, Tomorrow Never Dies) and TV composer Kevin Kiner (CSI: Miami) worked on the 007 Legends soundtrack.
Details on the Game (Courtesy of Activision):
Our story begins deep in murky, watery depths. You’re James Bond, and you’re drifting, unconscious. You don’t know why – only that you’re struggling for your life like never before. In moments of cognizance, you recall epic moments from the last 50 years. The harrowing chases. The uber-villains. The exotic locales. The women.
What will be your legend if this is the end?
In 007 Legends, you’ll take on the role of James Bond as played by Daniel Craig, running missions in the most iconic settings of 007’s five-decade film history. The places and times remain classified, even to you. But each retains the look and feel of the original movies, updated with reimagined characters, expanded gameplay and exciting new plotlines.
Which brings us back to your current predicament. The clock is ticking. Will this be yet another close brush with death, or has your remarkably good luck dried up at last?

Two of Queen Elizabeth’s beloved Corgis made an appearance during the Opening Ceremonies of the London 2012 Olympics. Accompanied by the Queen, the Corgis greeted Daniel Craig as James Bond in an entertaining segment that found James Bond and the Queen (in a bit of movie trickery) boarding a helicopter and skydiving into the stadium for the Opening Ceremonies.
The segment proved A) the Queen has a sense of humor and B) Corgis can be counted on to steal the show.
