Zaslow, co-founder of Project Soulmate, will once again by searching for true love for her single clients as Bravo brings back the series after shelving it due to low ratings following its premiere in March.
The Plot:
Finding true love does not happen overnight, but the New York City’s most passionate matchmaker Lori Zaslow scours the streets searching tirelessly for soulmates for her clients. In this episode, Jonathan Dickson, 36, is a good ol’ Southern boy who feels like a fish out of water when it comes to love in New York City. Lori literally pounds the pavement to find an energetic, God-loving, athletic beauty for the religious, shag-dancing Jonathan and sends them out for a day of flamenco dancing to see if any sparks fly. Lori’s other client, Jaime Hazan is turning 40 and is resistant to opening his heart up to the “wrong” woman. Screaming from the rooftops that Jaime must “Be vulnerable!” if he’s ever going to find his soulmate, Lori sculpts a unique experience for Jaime to learn what single women really think about men who refuse to open themselves up to the possibility of love.
The show will move to Tuesdays (for 2-hour performance episodes) and Wednesdays (one hour live eliminations) beginning July 10th.

Grammy-winner Adele is pregnant with her first child. The critically acclaimed singer announced the news on her official website today:
Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx”
For those not up on their Adele news, the father is Simon Konecki. Konecki is the CEO of the charity Drop4Drop and back in January 2012 following rumors that Konecki was in the process of a divorce but was still legally married when they began dating, Adele had this to say on her site:
This is the first and last time I will comment on the details of my relationship with Simon. Contrary to reports and headlines in the press today, Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts. Take care and see you all in February xx”
Paramount Pictures has just unleashed the first trailer for producer James Cameron’s Cirque du Soleil: World’s Away. Written and directed by Andrew Adamson, this 3D production features the talented acrobatic performers from Cirque du Soleil in an original story.
Commenting on the production, Jacques Méthé, Executive Producer, General Manager, Images, Events, Lifestyle of Cirque du Soleil said, “This unique point of view allows the audience to discover the artistic details of our productions and reveal the human spirit that our artists bring to the audience in their performances.”
Paramount is releasing Cirque du Soleil: World’s Away in theaters on December 21, 2012.

Ann Curry is officially out as co-anchor of NBC’s Today and Savannah Guthrie is officially in. NBC confirmed the morning show move today, with NBC News President Steve Capus making the announcement. The change in co-anchor is effective immediately.
The anchor team for the popular morning show as of Monday, July 9th will be Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales.
Capus’s statement: “In just a few short years Savannah, has become a standout member of the news division as well as the ultimate team player. She’s anchored for Brian on NBC Nightly News, moderated for David on Meet the Press, co-hosted the 9 a.m. hour of Today, reported for Rock Center and Dateline, and provided legal insights in our Supreme Court Special Reports – and that was all within the last week! She’s got an undeniable range, and she’s earned the trust of the news community, her colleagues and our viewers alike. I couldn’t be happier for Savannah and the entire Today team.”
Today Executive Producer Jim Bell’s statement: “As soon as Savannah joined NBC News she was a standout, reporting for every franchise in the news division and rising through the ranks. Hot on the heels of the news that the 10th anniversary of the show will be celebrated at this year’s Comic Con with a panel featuring Joss Whedon and the cast (including Nathan Fillion), SCIENCE just announced they’ll be hosting an all-day marathon kicking off at 8am PT/ET on July 4th.

Episode 1: Serenity

In this original pilot episode, the crew transports passengers to another planet to sell salvaged goods only to discover that an undercover Alliance agent is on board the Serenity. The crew heads off to the rim worlds after picking up three passengers: Book, Simon, and Dobson.
Episode 2: The Train Job
Wednesday, July 4 at 10:00 AM (ET/PT)
Serenity continues to travel through space conducting illegal runs across the star system, which is under the control of the Alliance. A powerful and fearsome mobster named Adelei Niska demands that the crew of Serenity pull a train robbery. The train is carrying medical supplies for a community, and Mal and Zoe get held on suspicion.
Episode 3: Bushwhacked

On a salvage mission aboard a drifting colony ship, the Serenity crew finds signs that the crew of the deserted ship was killed by the cannibalistic Reavers. They find one survivor, however things take a turn for the worse when an Alliance ship, looking for an unspecified Firefly-class ship with brother-and-sister stowaways, shows up and takes them in.
Episode 4: Shindig

On the planet Persephone, the crew is contacted by their old “friend” Badger, the ruthless crime lord, to transport some goods on behalf of a local lord. While at a ball to arrange a transport job with the lord, Mal defends Inara’s honor when her current customer insults her. By local custom, he unintentionally challenges her date, Atherton Wing, to a duel.
Episode 5: Safe
Wednesday, July 4 at 1:00 PM (ET/PT)
Mal must choose which crew members to save when one is gravely wounded and two others are kidnapped. Simon finds an uneasy haven in a remote village, but River’s uncanny perceptions jeopardize the Tams’ temporary safety. Simon is kidnapped by locals who need a doctor, while River is threatened with burning as a witch.
Episode 6: Our Mrs. Reynolds
Wednesday, July 4 at 2:00 PM (ET/PT)
While completing a job on a backwater world, Mal is married to a village girl without his knowledge. The girl, Saffron, gets onboard and the crew does not find her until they’re already in the air. Mal is not sure what to do with her, but let her come along.

The Serenity crew pulls a job in a town where Jayne once made some friends and few lifelong enemies. Meanwhile, Kaylee and Simon dance, River rewrites Book’s bible, and Inara beds the magistrate’s son, a virgin.

Following Serenity’s engine explosion, the crew is left with only hours of oxygen. In a delirious state, draining the ship of its oxygen supply, Mal has a series of flashbacks about how he came to own Serenity and form his crew.
Episode 9: Ariel

On return to Ariel, Simon hires the crew out to smuggle River into a hospital so Simon can figure out what the Alliance did to her. The plan goes off without a hitch – that is, until the Alliance catches wind of the Tam siblings’ presence on the planet.
Episode 10: War Stories

Jealous of Zoe’s relationship with Mal, Wash insists that he go with Mal to try to sell some of the medical supplies the crew stole from the Alliance. In the middle of the deal, Mal and Wash are kidnapped by men working for Niska, the crime lord, who wants revenge against Mal for the botched train heist. Meanwhile, Inara extends her services to a council member. To the crew’s surprise, it’s a woman. And Simon continues to treat River with some of the medicine he stole, but she suffers the occasional relapse.
Episode 11: Trash
Wednesday, July 4 at 7:00 PM (ET/PT)
Saffron (from “Our Mrs. Reynolds”) returns – after Mal breaks up her current gig, she convinces him and the crew to help out with a “perfect crime” that isn’t. The crime: go to Bellerophon and steal a criminal’s prototype laser gun from his collection. The plan: Saffron and Mal sneak in and dump the gun down the trash, bypassing security, and the Serenity crew grabs it from the disposal system.
Episode 12: The Message
Wednesday, July 4 at 8:00 PM (ET/PT)
An old war comrade of Mal’s and Zoe’s, Tracey, mails his corpse to them. He also leaves a message asking them to deliver his body to his family. Some men, claiming to be with the Alliance, are on the trail of the body and catch up to them demanding the corpse. The crew can’t find anything on Tracey’s corpse, but as they prepare to cut it open, Tracey comes back to life. He explains he is smuggling super-organs in his own body.
Episode 13: Heart of Gold
Wednesday, July 4 at 9:00 PM (ET/PT)
The Serenity goes to the moon of Deadwood to answer a distress call from Inara’s old friend, who runs a brothel. The Serenity crew defends a bordello from a gunslinger, who got a prostitute pregnant and now intends to collect the child; Mal falls for the bordello’s madam.
Episode 14: Objects in Space
Wednesday, July 4 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT)
Serenity encounters a ruthlessly professional bounty hunter, Jubal Early, who will stop at nothing to retrieve River. But River, feeling unwelcome on the ship, takes a novel approach to escaping from the long arm of the Alliance.

The show has been averaging 6.9 million viewers, prompting the network to pick it up for a 15 episode second season to air in 2013.
“Dallas has been a success for us on every level: pitch-perfect writing, smart directing and buzz-worthy performances by a new generation of stars and their iconic counterparts,” stated Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “With Dallas‘ top-flight ratings, robust growth through time-shifted viewing and the extensive online buzz, it’s clear the Ewings of Southfork have once again captured the imagination of viewers.”
Dallas is shot in the title city and stars Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, and Larry Hagman.
The Plot:
TNT’s Dallas marks the return to Southfork of J.R., Bobby and Sue Ellen Ewing, who bring with them their arsenal of secrets, schemes and betrayals. This time, they’re joined by the next generation of Ewings, who take ambition and deception to a new level.
“I lived here in Rome for a year when I was your age,” says John (Alec Baldwin) to Jack (Jesse Eisenberg), a younger version of himself, as he relives one of the most exciting romances of his life in Woody Allen’s ensemble comedy To Rome with Love.
That’s just one of the many vignettes brought to life in Allen’s 2012 film. There is also an average middle-class Roman, Leopoldo (Roberto Benigni), who one day wakes up to find himself the most popular celebrity being hounded by the press and the paparazzi. It seems he is famous through no fault or action of his own. At first fearful and shocked by all the attention, Leopoldo soon begins to enjoy being recognized by strangers on the street and attending movie premieres with super models.
Then there’s the retired American opera director Jerry (Woody Allen) who’s traveled to Rome with his wife, Phyllis (Judy Davis), to meet and get to know his daughter’s fiancé. While not enjoying the beauty and sights of Rome, Jerry becomes fixated on his future son-in-law’s father’s incredible singing voice. He’s truly amazed no one has ever encouraged him to pursue a career in singing instead of being a mortician, and quickly angers his future relatives by constantly bringing up the subject any and every chance he gets.
Meanwhile, Jack has met his girlfriend’s good friend, Monica (Ellen Page), who’s going to be staying with them for a while and finds himself overwhelmingly drawn to her, despite the observations and warnings of the older and wiser John (Baldwin).
To Rome with Love is an unoriginal comedy that has barely any laughs and wastes some truly talented actors. Anyone expecting the magic, charm and humor that the moviegoing public got from last year’s Woody Allen film, Midnight in Paris, is in for a big disappointment.
One of the main problems with the film is the fact it has so many vignettes, they aren’t given the time to develop into anything the audience will care about. The movie is also full of one-dimensional, stock characters that lack any true emotional depth and are devoid of any interesting personalities.
Alec Baldwin seems to almost be sleepwalking his way through any scenes with his younger counterpart played by Jesse Eisenberg. He gives a much better performance in his “Capital One” television commercials playing himself. Woody Allen gives perhaps the most annoying and humorless performance of his career as Jerry, the untalented, idiotic, neurotic, retired Opera producer who’s looking for one last golden opportunity to show the world he is a visionary. Hopefully, this will be the last time he feels the need to insert himself into one of his pictures.
Ellen Page is horribly miscast as the out of work, sexy, narcissist actress Monica who, according to her close friend, is a sensual siren men cannot help but fall for. Page, who is a talented young actress on the rise, fails to capture and exude the stunning, overwhelming, sexuality which is essential in believing Jack’s quick infatuation with her.
Another problem with the film is there is absolutely no pacing. It has no rhythm or flow and is just scene after scene after scene, jumping from one storyline to another with zero continuity.
Tedious and pointless, To Rome with Love is a laughless, boring, uninteresting drag of a film that will have the audience wishing they had actually gone anywhere except the movie theater (Rome would be nice) and had a real romantic adventure instead of sitting through this poor excuse of a movie.
