The official trailer for the third and final season of Starz’s Hightown promises the lies will come to an end and the case will come to a close (hopefully in a satisfactory manner). Season three of the critically acclaimed crime drama will premiere on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 12am ET on the STARZ app, streaming and on-demand platforms, and at 9pm ET/PT on Starz linear.

The Players trailer might give away just a little too much of the plot but, hey, at least it’s a fun two minutes. The romantic comedy is hitting the streaming service on February 14, 2024 for those who prefer to spend Valentine’s Day at home with Gina Rodriguez (Not Dead Yet), Damon Wayans Jr (The Harder They Fall), and Tom Ellis (Lucifer).
The cast of the rom-com also includes Joel Courtney (The Kissing Booth), Augustus Prew (The Morning Show), Liza Koshy (Work It), Ego Nwodim (Saturday Night Live), and Marin Hinkle (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Melissa Barrera reunites with her Scream and Scream VI directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett for Abigail, a twisted horror film about a vampire ballerina. The two-minute trailer introduces the titular character as well as the batch of adults who are caught completely by surprise when Abigail turns out to be a blood-sucking monster and not an innocent young dancer.
In addition to Barrera, the cast includes Dan Stevens (Gaslit), Kathryn Newton (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), William Catlett (Black Lightning), Kevin Durand (Resident Evil: Retribution), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), and Alisha Weir (Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical) as Abigail. Euphoria‘s Angus Cloud, who passed away in July 2023 from an accidental overdose, also stars.

After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl.”
Fans of ABC’s popular primetime medical drama The Good Doctor will have one final season to say goodbye to Dr. Shaun Murphy, played by Freddie Highmore, and his colleagues. ABC released a new trailer and confirmed the series will end with the upcoming seventh season, set to premiere on February 20, 2024.
Season seven will air on Tuesdays at 10pm ET/PT.

Puppy Bowl XX will feature 131 puppies from 73 shelters across the United States and territories. One pup, Sweatpea, takes the title as the smallest pup to ever grace the Puppy Bowl field, weighing in at just 1.7 lbs. In contrast, Levi the Great Dane will be the all-time largest dog at 72 lbs.
The 20th-anniversary broadcast welcomes back four previous players who will be inducted into the brand-new Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame. Six special needs doggies will also join the fun, including a Papillon with two legs, four deaf puppies, an an adorable Pug with the neurological condition cerebellar hypoplasia.

Nominee Simu Liu (Barbie) has been tapped to host the 2024 People’s Choice Awards airing on NBC, Peacock, and E! on February 18, 2024. This year, the popularity contest has added Male Country Artist, Female Country Artist, Male Latin Artist, Female Latin Artist, and Concert Tour, increasing the total number of categories to 45.
“We’re thrilled to have Simu Liu host the 2024 People’s Choice Awards,” stated Jen Neal, Executive Vice President, Live Events and Specials, NBCUniversal Entertainment. “As a fan-favorite tour de force in Hollywood, Simu’s limitless charm and connection to fans perfectly embody the spirit of this awards show.”
“I’m so grateful to have been asked to step up to the hosting plate for the 2024 People’s Choice Awards,” said Liu. “It’s exciting to celebrate this incredible year in pop culture, and to do so with the incredible fans that make what we do possible.”
Voting is currently underway via www.votepca.com. Fans who vote on January 16th – Turbo Tuesday – will have each of their votes count for two votes.

Paramount+’s two-minute official trailer for the sci-fi thriller Halo teases that when events spiral out of control, we save what we can. “Looking at your faces, I do not see defeat and I do not see surrender,” says Captain Jacob Keyes (Danny Sapani). Master Chief and the Spartans have heroes on their side, while the Covenant does not.
Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) returns to lead the video game-inspired series as Master Chief, Spartan-117, with Natascha McElhone (Californication) back as Dr. Halsey. Returning cast members include Jen Taylor (HALO game series, RWBY), Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo), Shabana Azmi (Fire), Natasha Culzac (The Witcher), Olive Gray (Half Moon Investigations), and Yerin Ha (Reef Break). Also back for season two are Bentley Kalu (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Kate Kennedy (Catastrophe), Charlie Murphy (Peaky Blinders), Danny Sapani (Penny Dreadful), Fiona O’Shaughnessy (The Forgiven), and Tylan Bailey.
Halo newcomers include Joseph Morgan (The Originals), Cristina Rodlo (No One Gets Out of Here Alive), and Christina Bennington (Midsomer Murders).
Season two will premiere on February 8, 2024 with the release of the first two episodes. New episodes arrive on Thursdays.

“In season two, Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien threat known as the Covenant. In the wake of a shocking event on a desolate planet, John cannot shake the feeling that his war is about to change and risks everything to prove what no one else will believe – that the Covenant is preparing to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis. “With the galaxy on the brink, John embarks on a journey to find the key to humankind’s salvation, or its extinction: the Halo.”
David Wiener (Brave New World) guides the series as showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Amblin Televisions’ Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank, and Justin Falvey, and Xbox/343 Industries’ Kiki Wolfkill. Otto Bathurst and Toby Leslie for One Big Picture and Gian Paolo Varani also executive produce. Series stars Pablo Schreiber and Natascha McElhone serve as producers.
