Five Nights at Freddy’s Trailer #2 Shines the Spotlight on the Band

If Chuck E Cheese gave you nightmares, you might want to just go ahead and cross Five Nights at Freddy’s off your must-see list. If not, then the new trailer showcasing the animatronic characters will probably make you move the film higher up on that same list.

Based on the popular video games created by Scott Cawthon, Five Nights at Freddy’s stars Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games franchise), Elizabeth Lail (You), Piper Rubio (Unstable), and Kat Conner Sterling (We Have a Ghost). Mary Stuart Masterson (Blindspot) and Matthew Lillard (Good Girls) also star in the creepy film adaptation.

Creator Cawthon wrote the screenplay along with Emma Tammi and Seth Cuddeback. Tammi directs and Cawthon and Jason Blum serve as producers. Bea Sequeira, Russell Binder, Marc Mostman, and Christopher H. Warner executive produce.

Jim Henson’s Creature Shop created the film’s animatronic characters.

Universal Pictures will release Five Nights at Freddy’s in theaters and streaming on Peacock on October 27, 2023.

The film follows a troubled security guard as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. While spending his first night on the job, he realizes the night shift at Freddy’s won’t be so easy to make it through.

‘What Happens Later’ Trailer: Meg Ryan Returns to Rom-Coms

The first trailer for What Happens Later makes it clear the title isn’t supposed to have a question mark at the end. Meg Ryan, a queen of romantic comedies back when rom-coms were smiled upon by audiences and studios, returns to the genre as co-writer, director, and star, teaming with David Duchovny to tell the story of a former couple who find themselves stuck together in an airport.

“It has a relationship to movies from the ’40s, like Bringing Up Baby, in terms of the banter and the rhythm of things and a lot of that era of filmmaking,” explained Ryan in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “Nora Ephron used to say about rom-coms that they were really a secretly incredible delivery system to comment on the times, and we do that in this movie.”

The R-rated romantic comedy is based on Steven Dietz’s play Shooting Star, with Dietz, Ryan, and Kirk Lynn writing the screenplay. Producers include Jonathan Duffy, Kelly Williams, Laura D. Smith, and Kristin Mann.

Bleecker Street offers this synopsis:

“Two ex lovers, Bill (David Duchovny) and Willa (Meg Ryan) get snowed in at a regional airport overnight. Indefinitely delayed, Willa, a magical thinker, and Bill, a catastrophic one, find themselves just as attracted to and annoyed by one another as they did decades earlier. But as they unpack the riddle of their mutual past and compare their lives to the dreams they once shared, they begin to wonder if their reunion is mere coincidence, or something more enchanted.”

What Happens Later is opening in theaters on October 13, 2023.

CBS’s award-winning The Amazing Race is increasing the number of competitors for its upcoming 35th season. Season 35 will feature 13 teams attempting to outrace each other and claim the $1 million grand prize.

“We start this season of The Amazing Race with an international flight to Asia, bringing back the thrill of traveling around the globe to exotic places. And on top of that, our cast is fantastic! Their energy is palpable, and their enthusiasm even greater! This season’s big, 90-minute episodes allow us to show more of each city we travel to, especially the people and the culture, plus we get to know our contestants on a deeper level and their relationships with each other,” stated co-creators and executive producers Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri. “You will laugh, you will cry, you will shout at the TV in frustration and also scream with joy, but best of all you will feel the highs and lows on this journey of the human spirit with the majestic backdrop of the world.”

Season 35 kicks off on September 27, 2023 with the racers beginning their globe-trotting adventure at the Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles. Every episode this season will be 90 minutes long and will air on Wednesdays at 9:30 – 11:30pm ET/PT. The new season will bring back the Express Pass and commercial travel. Phil Keoghan returns as host as the teams travel to locations in Slovenia (new to The Amazing Race), Thailand, India, Germany, Sweden, and Ireland. The race will wrap up in Washington state.

Per CBS: “This season on The Amazing Race, one of the 13 teams trekking around the world will be eliminated at the end of every leg. Each team is comprised of two people who have a pre-existing relationship with one another. At every destination, each team competes in a series of challenges – some mental and some physical – and when the tasks have been completed, they learn their next destination.

‘Ferrari’ Teaser Trailer Starring Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz

There’s only one line of dialogue uttered in the first teaser trailer for Michael Mann’s Ferrari. Following shots of cars racing, snippets of angry people, and a fiery crash, Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari declares, “If you get into one of my cars, you get in to win.”

Penélope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Sarah Gordon, Gabriel Leone, Jack O’Connell, and Patrick Dempsey also star in director Michael Mann’s much-anticipated examination of Enzo Ferrari’s life.

Neon released this updated synopsis:

“It is the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle of Formula 1, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari is in crisis. Bankruptcy threatens the factory he and his wife, Laura (Cruz) built from nothing ten years earlier. Their volatile marriage has been battered by the loss of their son, Dino a year earlier. Ferrari struggles to acknowledge his son Piero with Lina Lardi (Woodley).

Meanwhile, his drivers’ passion to win pushes them to the edge as they launch into the treacherous 1,000-mile race across Italy, the Mille Miglia.”

In an interview with Variety, Michael Mann confirmed the film takes place over three pivotal months in Enzo Ferrari’s life. “Everything he’s been collides with what he might become, and the company has gone bust,” offered Mann. “His wife finds out about the other woman. It’s a spectacularly operatic melodrama in real life.”

Troy Kennedy Martin adapted Brock Yates’ Enzo Ferrari: The Man, The Cars, The Races, The Machine. Producers include Michael Mann, P.J. van Sandwijk, Marie Savare, John Lesher, Thomas Hayslip, John Friedberg, and Laura Rister. Andrea Iervolino, Monika Bacardi, Gareth West, Lars Sylvest, and Thorsten Schumacher also serve as producers.

Ferrari will premiere at the Venice Film Festival and is slated to be the Closing Night film at the New York Film Festival. Following its festival run, Ferrari will race into theaters on December 25th.

At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder.
