Fox’s Gotham season four episode eight found Lee Thompkins assuming a position of great power in The Narrows and allowed Gotham fans the opportunity to see Cory Michael Smith as Ed Nygma do his best Robin Lord Taylor as The Penguin impersonation. Plus, Detective Jim Gordon finally came to his senses and took the necessary step and replaced Harvey Bullock as GCPD Captain. The move was made possible thanks to the behind-the-scenes maneuverings of Sofia Falcone.
Up next, Gotham season four episode nine titled “A Dark Knight: Let Them Eat Cake.” Episode nine is set to air on November 16, 2017 and returns to the story of Professor Pyg.

The “Let Them Eat Cake” Plot: Professor Pyg continues to torment Gotham city, involving Jim Gordon whenever possible. Sofia and Penguin get ready for a fundraiser for the orphanage, and things don’t go as planned when Professor Pyg shows up as the chef. Meanwhile, Bruce’s partying gets in the way of his relationship with Alfred. The episodes guest cast includes Michael Cerveris as Professor Pyg, Gordon Winarick as Tommy Elliot, and Christopher Convery as Martin.
