‘How I Met Your Father’ Season 2 Debuts Photos and Reveals Premiere Date

Hulu’s set a January 2023 premiere date for season two of How I Met Your Father. Series star Hilary Duff made a short teaser video revealing the How I Met Your Mother spinoff’s Tuesday, January 24th second season launch date. Plus, the streaming service celebrated the premiere date announcement with the first batch of photos from season two.

In addition to Hilary Duff as Sophie, the season two cast features Chris Lowell, Francia Raisa, Tom Ainsley, Tien Tran, and Suraj Sharma. Recurring guest stars include Kim Cattrall, Daniel Augustin, Ashley Reyes, and Josh Peck.

How I Met Your Father is executive produced by Isaac Aptaker, Elizabeth Berger, Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, Pam Fryman, and Adam Londy. Aptaker and Berger are the writers, and Duff serves as a producer on the comedy series from 20th Television.

In the near future, Sophie (Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the present where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options.
