AMC’s renewed Interview with the Vampire for a fourth season and confirmed we’re getting a season dedicated to bringing Anne Rice’s Queen of the Damned to life. The teaser shows Akasha (Sheila Atim) urging women to rise up and do what they’ve always wanted to do to men … kill them.
AMC didn’t reveal when Queen of the Damned is expected to premiere or if it’ll have more episodes than The Vampire Lestat‘s seven.

Hannah Moscovitch will serve as showrunner and will executive produce along with Mark Johnson, Rolin Jones, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice. Moscovitch was an executive producer on The Vampire Lestat and was a writer on Interview with the Vampire seasons one and two.
