‘Mozart in the Jungle’ Season 4 Trailer: The Maestro’s Back

Amazon has just unveiled the new official two-minute trailer for season four of Mozart in the Jungle. The new season is set to premiere on February 16, 2018 and finds Gael Garcia Bernal (The Motorcycle Diaries, The Science of Sleep) back as maestro Rodrigo, Lola Kirke (American Made, Gone Girl) returning as Hailey, Malcolm McDowell (Franklin and Bash, The Mentalist) as Thomas, and Bernadette Peters (The Good Fight, Ugly Betty) returning as Gloria.

The cast of Mozart in the Jungle season four also includes Saffron Burrows (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Law & Order: Criminal Intent), Hannah Dunne, Debra Monk (Mr. Mercedes, Grey’s Anatomy), Masi Oka (Hawaii Five-O, Heroes Reborn), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest, Lost), and John Cameron Mitchell (Girls, Vinyl). The dramatic series is executive produced by Roman Coppola, Paul Weitz, Jason Schwartzman, Will Graham, and Caroline Baron. Paul Weitz (About a Boy), Roman Coppola (The Darjeeling Limited), and Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore) created the music-driven series.


Mozart in the Jungle has been nominated for four Golden Globe awards, winning two: Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical (Gael García Bernal). The critically acclaimed series has also won two Primetime Emmy awards after being nominated a total of four times.

The Season 4 Plot: New melodies arise as Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal) and Hailey (Lola Kirke) take their relationship public. As Rodrigo learns what it means to be a boyfriend, Hailey enters a competition in Japan to prove herself as a conductor. Will they be able to balance the demands between their careers and relationship or will it tear them apart? Meanwhile, Thomas (Thomas McDowell) joins a start-up orchestra in Brooklyn that challenges Gloria (Bernadette Peters).
