The new generation of PLL returns for season two, Pretty Little Liars: Summer School, premiering on Max on May 9, 2024 with the release of the first two episodes. New episodes of the eight-episode season will be released on Thursdays, with the big season finale set for June 20th.

Returning to lead the cast are Bailee Madison as Imogen, Chandler Kinney as Tabby, Zaria as Faran, Malia Pyles as Mouse, and Maia Reficco as Noa. Also reprising their roles for season two are Mallory Bechtel as Kelly, Sharon Leal as Sidney, Alex Aiono as Shawn, Jordan Gonzalez as Ash, and Elias Kacavas as Greg.

“Following the harrowing events of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, our Pretty Little Liars face a fate worse than death – summer school. However, Millwood High isn’t the only thing getting in the way of their fun summer jobs and new, dreamy love interests,” reads Max’s synopsis. “A new villain, who may or may not have a connection to A, has come to town and is going to put them all to the test.”

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina‘s Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring created the series and serve as writers and executive producers. Additional executive producers include original PLL series creator Marlene King, Michael Grassi, and Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.

Max’s premiere date announcement included the first batch of photos from the upcoming second season.
