The CW’s Riverdale season two put Archie and his friends through hell, and season three will most likely be just as trauma-inducing for the show’s characters. Season three episode one will premiere on October 10, 2018 at 8pm ET/PT. The first episode’s titled “Labor Day” and is directed by Kevin Sullivan from a script by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
The cast of season three includes KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones. Madelaine Petsch is Cheryl Blossom, Marisol Nichols is Hermione Lodge, Mӓdchen Amick is Alice Cooper, and Luke Perry is Fred Andrews. The third season also stars Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Casey Cott as Kevin Keller, Mark Consuelos as Hiram Lodge, Skeet Ulrich as FP Jones,Charles Melton as Reggie Mantle, and Vanessa Morgan as Toni Topaz.
The “Chapter Thirty-Six: Labor Day” Plot: AND THE VERDICT IS… — As the jury begins deliberations in his murder trial, Archie (Apa) makes a surprising request about how he wants to spend his final days of summer. Betty (Reinhart) is forced to deal with her problems head-on after a heated confrontation with Alice (Amick) and Polly (guest star Tiera Skovbye) brings up some dark secrets she’s kept hidden. Veronica (Mendes) pleads with Hiram (Consuelos) to step in and help Archie before a verdict is announced. Finally, Jughead (Sprouse) leads the Serpents against the Ghoulies latest attack.
