Freeform’s Shadowhunters season three episode seven found Clary finally coming clean with Alec, Izzy, and Magnus about Jace. Clary’s revelation came after an intense battle with Jace sent her falling out a window and landing on a parked car unable to move and needing Simon’s help. After she confessed to bringing Jace back from the dead, Alex surprised everyone by giving her a hug and admitting he would have done the same thing. The episode ended with Alec, Izzy, and Clary trapping Jace and transporting him to Magnus’ place where they attempted to break Lilith’s control.
Meanwhile, the episode’s other major surprise was the backstory of Maia and Jordan. It turns out Maia and Jordan were dating when Jordan was turned into a werewolf. His personality changed, he grew upset Maia wanted to go to college rather than Fiji, and ultimately he attacked her and turned her into a werewolf. Although Jordan wanted to quit the job of guarding Simon, Maia refused to allow him to abandon Simon the way he abandoned her.
