Star Wars Rebels is coming to an end, with the final episodes set to kick off on February 19, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT. Disney XD’s released the trailer teasing the final episodes of the animated sci-fi series and the network’s confirmed Ian McDiarmid will be reprising his role as Emperor Palpatine from the live-action Star Wars films for the first time in the series.
Disney XD’s wrapping up Star Wars Rebels over three weeks, with back-to-back episodes airing on Mondays. The series will conclude with a special 90-minute series finale set to air on Monday, March 5th at 8:30pm ET/PT.
Star Wars Rebels was created by Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past), and Carrie Beck. Dave Filoni and Simon Kinberg executive produced, and Henry Gilroy co-executive produced. The voice cast of the final season includes Freddie Prinze Jr. as Kanan, Vanessa Marshall as Hera, Steve Blum as Zeb, Tiya Sircar as Sabine, Taylor Gray as Ezra, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex, David Oyelowo as Kallus, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Governor Pryce, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Warwick Davis as Rukh.
