Apple TV’s official trailer for Ted Lasso season four begins with a warm hug, which is perfect for a series that basically feels like a much-needed embrace from your long-lost best friends. The fourth season of the Emmy-winning series will premiere on August 5, 2026.
New episodes of the 10-episode season stream on Wednesdays.
Emmy winner Jason Sudeikis returns as the titular character. Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham returns as Rebecca Welton, Juno Temple’s back as Keeley Jones, and Brett Goldstein reprises his role as Roy Kent. Brendan Hunt returns as Coach Beard and Jeremy Swift returns as Leslie Higgins. Newcomers include Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.
“In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team,” reads Apple TV’s synopsis. “Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”
Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt developed the series and serve as executive producers. Additional executive producers include Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, Jack Burditt, Leann Bowen, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer
Goldstein, Sarah Walker, Phoebe Walsh, and Julia Lindon wrote season four.
