Tina Fey and friends will be heading off on another vacation in the just-announced third season of The Four Seasons. Netflix confirmed the popular comedy has been renewed for a third season but didn’t say where the best friends will be heading off to when the series returns.
Season three hasn’t announced a target release date; however, season one premiered in May 2025 and season two debuted in May 2026. The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes, matching the first two seasons.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring a third season of The Four Seasons to life. Thank you to everyone who watched. Middle-aged people, LFG!” stated co-creators, co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield.
In addition to Tina Fey, the ensemble includes Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, and Colman Domingo.
“Coming off a hard year, six friends carry on their tradition of vacationing together — now with a baby in tow. The Four Seasons picks back up with the core group — Kate (Fey), Jack (Forte), Anne (Kenney-Silver), Danny (Domingo), Claude (Calvani), and Ginny (Henningsen) — as they journey from the familiar comforts of the Jersey Shore and upstate New York to the stunning landscapes of Italy. With warmth and wit, personal blind spots surface as they each grieve their late friend and embark on new adventures,” reads season two’s synopsis. “The Four Seasons remains a heartfelt and hilarious tribute to long-term relationships, while continuing to explore the highs, lows, and humor of enduring friendships and love.”
Alan Alda, one of the stars of the original film, serves as a producer along with Marissa Bregman. David Miner, Eric Gurian, and Jeff Richmond executive produce. Fey, Wigfield, Domingo, Fisher, Jeff Richmond, Shari Springer Berman, and Robert Pulcini directed season two.
