Morgan Spector to Star as Robert Langdon in Netflix Series

The Gilded Age‘s Morgan Spector has been cast as Robert Langdon in Netflix’s adaptation of The Secret of Secrets. The sixth book in Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon series is being adapted by Carlton Cuse (Lost, Jack Ryan, Bates Motel), with Brown involved as an executive producer and co-creator. 

Netflix and Carlton Cuse haven’t announced the series’ official title.

“Morgan is a truly wonderful actor whose work is always filled with intelligence, thoughtfulness, and humanity,” stated co-creator, writer, showrunner, and executive producer Carlton Cuse. “He’s the perfect fit for Robert Langdon—a brilliant academic whose curiosity, intelligence, and intellect are the tools of his trade.”

Oscar-winner Tom Hanks starred in the three film adaptations of Brown’s Robert Langdon novels: The Da Vinci Code (2006), Angels & Demons (2009), and Inferno (2016).
