Netflix’s The Future Of documentary series had me at the possibility of a dog internet. According to the official description, The Future Of season one will include an episode all about the possibility of developing technology that will allow us to better communicate with our furry family members.
The 12-episode season will also feature a look at the future of houseplants, dating apps, cheeseburgers, and fashion.
Jurnee Smollett narrates the half-hour episodes and Vox Media Studios’ Chad Mumm, Mark W. Olsen, Max Heckman, Michael John Warren, and Chris Grosso executive produce. The Verge’s Nilay Patel and Eleanor Donovan as well as 21 Laps Entertainment’s Shawn Levy and Josh Barry also executive produce.
The first six episodes will be released on June 21, 2022. The final six episodes debut on June 28th.
