Hulu’s first trailer for Under the Bridge shows the start of an investigation into the murder of a teenage girl. Based on true events, the limited series is set to premiere on the streaming service on April 17, 2024 with the release of the first two episodes.
The cast is led by Oscar nominee Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon) and Riley Keogh (Daisy Jones & The Six). The cast also includes Vritika Gupta, Chloe Guidry, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Izzy G., Aiyana Goodfellow, Ezra Faroque Khan, and Archie Panjabi.
“Under the Bridge is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story of fourteen-year-old Reena Virk (Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home,” reads Hulu’s synopsis. “Through the eyes of Godfrey (Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.”
Quinn Shephard adapted Rebecca Godfrey’s book for the series and serves as an executive producer. Additional executive producers include Keough, Gina Gamell, Samir Mehta, Liz Tigelaar, Stacey Silverman, Tara Duncan, and author Godfrey (posthumously). Geeta Patel directs and executive produces.
