Season 25 of NBC’s The Voice is bringing Grammy Award-winner Keith Urban in as a mega mentor. Urban’s no stranger to the singing competition, having served as a coach on seasons one, 10, and 11 of the Australian version.

Urban also joined Blake Shelton during season 15, acting as an advisor.

Chance the Rapper, Dan + Shay, John Legend, and Reba McEntire serve as coaches on season 25, and Urban will be helping out by mentoring the remaining artists as they progress from the Battle Rounds and into the Knockouts beginning on Monday, April 8.

“During the Knockout Rounds, artists are paired against a teammate once more, but select their own song to perform individually while their direct competitor watches and waits. With his deep-seated passion for music, vast performing experience, versatility and musical virtuosity, Urban will provide invaluable advice to the artists alongside the coaches to bolster their unique strengths and elevate their performances,” reads NBC’s announcement. “Coaches alone choose the winner from their team to advance to the Playoffs, the last round before the Live Shows. Each coach has one steal in the Knockouts.”

Season 25 is airing on Mondays at 8pm and Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT.

The four-time Grammy Award winner will be dropping his new album featuring “Straight Line” and “Messed Up As Me” later this year. His awards shelf also includes 13 CMAs, 15 ACMs, three AMAs, and two People’s Choice Awards. Urban’s earned nine consecutive gold, platinum, or multi-platinum albums, and has a record-breaking 38 Top 10s.
