Jungle Cruise Debuts a New Trailer Starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt

Have audiences hit the amusement-park-ride-turned-feature-film fatigue level yet? The Mouse House hopes not and that audiences can tolerate at least one more ride-inspired movie, dropping a new trailer and poster for the latest theme park ride-inspired film – Jungle Cruise

The latest action-adventure film based on a popular Disneyland ride features Dwayne Johnson (of course) and Emily Blunt, fresh off her singing and dancing turn in Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns. They’re joined by Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti for the 2020 theatrical release.

Jaume Collet-Serra (The Shallows, Run All Night) directed and John Davis, John Fox, Dwayne Johnson, Hiram Garcia, Dany Garcia and Beau Flynn served as producers. Doug Merrifield executive produces.

Jungle Cruise will sail into theaters on July 24, 2020.

The Plot:

Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s Jungle Cruise is an adventure-filled, Amazon-jungle expedition starring Dwayne Johnson as the charismatic riverboat captain and Emily Blunt as a determined explorer on a research mission.
