‘The 100’ Season 5 Episode 9 Preview and Photos: “Sic Semper Tyrannis”

The CW’s The 100 season five episode eight was a wild one, with Clarke under arrest, Abby forcing Raven to help her just so she could obtain more drugs, Diyoza admitting she’s pregnant, and Bellamy knocking out his sister.

Clarke and Bellamy found a way to kill off the worms, killing off Cooper in the process. They thought not being able to weaponize the worms would make Octavia surrender, thus fulfilling their promise to Diyoza. Indra agreed to help and gassed the worms, and once they were dead she attempted to convince Octavia the cost in lives would be too high if she went through with her battle plans.

However, Octavia shocked Indra by revealing they were going to use the eggs, not the worms. Octavia immediately realized Clarke and Bellamy planned this to make it look like an accident. Octavia ordered Clarke arrested, taunting both Clarke and Bellamy with the fact the eggs are already loaded up and ready to go. As Clarke was taken away, she made Bellamy promise to keep Madi safe.

Meanwhile, John made a deal with McCreary (William Miller) in a desperate attempt to save Raven. Emori and John pretended to be McCreary’s prisoners and were taken to Diyoza.

After being used by Abby, Raven is now ready to do what’s necessary to stop Diyoza.

The episode ended with Bellamy meeting one-on-one with Octavia. He secretly dosed an energy bar with Monty’s algae and knocked Octavia out. As she was passing out, Bellamy said, “You’ll be okay. By the time you wake up we’ll be in the valley. We will have peace. My sister – my responsibility.”

Up next, season five episode 9 titled “Sic Semper Tyrannis” airing on July 10, 2018. The episode was directed by Ian Samoil from a script by Miranda Kwok.

The season five cast includes Eliza Taylor as Clarke Griffin, Paige Turco as Dr. Abigail Griffin, Bob Morley as Bellamy Blake, Marie Avgeropoulos as Octavia Blake, Lindsey Morgan as Raven Reyes, Christopher Larkin as Monty Green, Henry Ian Cusick as Marcus Kane, Richard Harmon as John Murphy, Luisa d’Oliveira as Emori, Chelsey Reist as Harper, Adina Porter as Indra, Ivana Milicevic as Diyoza, Lola Flanery as Madi, and Tasya Teles as Echo.

The “Sic Semper Tyrannis” Plot: FIRE — The growing fractures in Wonkru threaten to explode once and for all. Meanwhile, in Shadow Valley, Murphy (Richard Harmon) starts a fire, unleashing catastrophic results.

The Season 5 Plot: Over the last four seasons The 100 have fought to survive against unimaginable odds, only to see the world end for a second time. Season five begins six years later, with our heroes still separated: Bellamy’s team in space, Clarke on the ground, and hundreds trapped in the bunker below. But when a massive prison ship descends upon the last survivable place on earth, The 100 must come together to reclaim their home.

As two armies converge on one valley, alliances will shift, friends will become foes, and the march to war threatens to destroy all that’s left of the human race. Can our heroes break the cycle, or is humanity doomed to repeat the past? In this epic battle for survival, one thing is certain: there are no good guys.

‘Trial & Error’ Season 2 Preview: Photos, Cast and Plot Details

Season two of NBC’s half-hour comedy Trial & Error will premiere on July 19, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT. Season one starred John Lithgow as a professor who had a habit of incriminating himself in his wife’s murder whenever he opened his mouth. Season two, which goes by the new title of Trial & Error: Lady, Killer, focuses on Kristin Chenoweth’s character who’s accused of murdering her husband.

In support of the new season’s July premiere, NBC’s debuted new photos and a trailer for the second season which brings back Nicholas D’Agosto as Josh Segal, Jayma Mays as Carol Anne, Steven Boyer as Dwayne, and Sherri Shepherd as Anne. In addition to Kristin Chenoweth, season two will feature Amanda Payton and Lauren McGibbon.

Trial & Error was created by Jeff Astrof and Matt Miller. Astrof, Miller, and director Jeffrey Blitz executive produce the comedy.

The Plot: In the spirit of true crime documentaries, the second season of this outrageous fish-out-of-water comedy centers on bright-eyed New York lawyer Josh Segal (Nicholas D’Agosto), still relatively a newcomer in a tiny Southern town, who is sturdily posed for his next big case there. His mission? To defend the eccentric first lady of East Peck, Lavinia Peck-Foster (Kristin Chenoweth), known for her flamboyant outfits, large hats and hairless cat, and who suddenly finds herself accused of the bizarre murder of her beloved husband.

As Josh continues to settle into his makeshift office behind a taxidermy shop while working with his quirky team of local misfits, he suspects that winning his second big case this time should be easy (especially when his client is the town favorite), but is it?
