“Season two of Hemlock Grove is a hot mix of passion, intrigue and supernatural thrills that come together in mysterious and riveting ways,” said Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix. “The intensity and suspense take things to a whole new level and open doors to a brand new chapter that our members are going to love.”

“I cannot wait for fans to see what’s in store for season two – it is going to blow away all expectations,” said Roth. “Netflix has been an incredible partner, and whenever we wanted to take the story in a dangerous direction, they encouraged us to go even further – into a scarier, darker, and sexier place. We guarantee you won’t see anything like this anywhere else on television.”

The Plot:

Hemlock Grove is a supernatural thriller which explores the strange happenings in a small Pennsylvania town. The show focuses on the unlikely friendship between the founding family’s young heir, Roman Godfrey (Skarsgard), and gypsy newcomer and outsider, Peter Rumancek (Liboiron). Peter moves in with Destiny (Horn) and is forced to get a job after his mother is sent away.

Meanwhile, in search of a new life, newcomer Miranda Cates (Madeline Brewer), embarks on Hemlock Grove with an unknowingly profound effect on Peter and Roman. And Norman (Scott), still reeling from the loss of his family, must face the harsh truths that are uncovered about those he still loves.

‘Hercules’ TV Spot with More Action, More Dwayne Johnson

“I am Hercules!” shouts Dwayne Johnson at the end of this new TV spot for the upcoming action epic Hercules coming to theaters on July 25, 2014. And while the line doesn’t have quite as much impact as, let’s say, “I am Spartacus!” points are scored in its favor since it’s being delivered while attacking a wild boar the size of a full-grown elephant.

Paramount Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures describe Hercules as a revisionist take on the classic myth, based on Radical Comics’ Hercules by Steve Moore. In addition to Johnson, the Hercules cast includes Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, and John Hurt.

‘The Fault in Our Stars’ Offers Up a New Clip: “It’s a Metaphor”

The Fault in Our Stars stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort were on hand at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards to show off a brand new clip from the much-anticipated film adaptation of the bestselling book. This completely disgusts Hazel (Woodley) who met the handsome teen during a support group meeting for teens with cancer.

Fortunately, Gus has an interesting explanation for his action. “They don’t actually hurt you unless you light them. You put the thing that does the killing right between your teeth, but you never give it the power to kill you,” explains Gus.

The Plot: Hazel and Gus are two extraordinary teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them — and us – on an unforgettable journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous, given that they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. The Fault in Our Stars, based upon the number-one bestselling novel by John Green, explores the funny, thrilling and tragic business of being alive and in love.
