Paramount Network has set a November 2024 premiere date for part two of Yellowstone season five. The first part of season one wrapped up on January 1, 2023. The fifth and final season returns on November 10th at 8pm ET/PT.
The premiere date announcement was accompanied by a 15-second video that revealed nothing about the upcoming new episodes. Filming is currently underway in Montana.
Season five stars Kevin Costner as John Dutton, Luke Grimes as Kayce, Kelly Reilly as Beth, Wes Bentley as Jamie, and Cole Hauser as Rip. Kelsey Asbille stars as Monica, Brecken Merrill is Tate, Jefferson White plays Jimmy, Forrie Smith is Lloyd, Denim Richards is Colby, Ian Bohen is Ryan, Finn Little is Carter, Ryan Bingham is Walker, and Gil Birmingham is Thomas Rainwater.
(UPDATE: On June 21, 2024 Kevin Costner posted a message about the series he loves and that he knows fans love. He’s busy working on his four-part Western epic Horizon: An American Saga, and won’t be able to continue with Yellowstone. Costner says the series changed him, and he loved the relationship the show’s been able to develop with fans. He ended his message by saying, “See you at the movies.”)

“Yellowstone chronicles the Dutton family who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States,” reads Paramount Network’s synopsis. “Amid shifting alliances, unsolved murders, open wounds, and hard-earned respect – the ranch is in constant conflict with those it borders – an expanding town, an Indian reservation, and America’s first national park.”
Taylor Sheridan and John Linson created the series and serve as executive producers. Additional executive producers include Art Linson, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros, and Keith Cox.
Picking up seconds after episode seven ended, episode eight, “Final Exam,” opens with Faran (Zaria) jumping into the pool to save Kelly (Mallory Bechtel). She briefly performs CPR and Kelly is saved! All the girls join Faran and the revived Kelly at the pool, and Kelly is grateful Faran chose to save her and not go after Bloody Rose – despite all the stuff Kelly pulled with Hell House.
Kelly doesn’t think Bloody Rose is her mom since she locked her mother in their prayer closet. The girls wonder if she somehow got out and head over to Kelly’s house to ensure her mother is indeed still locked up. She is, and it’s time for the girls to go because Kelly has a lot to discuss with her mom.
Imogen (Bailee Madison) informs her BFFs that she was at the cemetery with Dr. Sullivan, and suddenly Sullivan disappeared. Imogen found her car with rose petals covering the front seat. Noa (Maia Reficco) wonders if she was snatched by Bloody Rose and Imogen suggests either that or she is Bloody Rose. Tabby (Chandler Kinney) takes it a step further, wondering if Rose and Dr. Sullivan are teaming up. Two grieving mothers seeking revenge.
Mouse (Malia Pyles) also has something to tell them. The real Rose Waters showed up at her house. Rose was safe before the girls found her, and now she’s got crazy, obsessive teens from Spooky Spaghetti following her. Mouse ended up taking her to Crazy Joe’s train car to keep her safe. (He was in season one).
They discover Rose isn’t there, but a bed full of rose petals is. Tabby suggests someone could be “picking off” mothers, and the girls are in full panic mode to find Tabby’s mom.
Fortunately, Tabby’s mom is home, unharmed. Unfortunately, she received a bouquet of roses that she thinks are from Tabby. The roses came with a note that reads, “I love you more than life itself.”
Tabby feels the note and flowers are a clear message that her mom is a target now. Mouse thinks they should tell Tabby’s mom and Faran disagrees. They feel they can’t trust anyone but themselves.

Friday
A riot broke out at the prison where Archie Waters is being housed and several prisoners are dead. Supposedly, Archie is among those who died. Tabby and Imogen find that suspicious. Tabby’s mom thinks they should be extra cautious.
Kelly tells Imogen and Tabby she was up all night talking with her mom. Chip’s mom was brought up and Tabby informs her they haven’t seen her since their encounter at Hell House. However, she is on their list of suspects. Kelly thinks that’s good because when she told her mom about Bloody Rose, her mother’s first thought was it could it be Mrs. Langsberry. Kelly adds that when her mother tried to reach out to Mrs. Langsberry, she was a remorseless void with an awful darkness inside her.
And now it’s time to confront Mrs. Langsberry once and for all. Imogen and Tabby go to her house to return Chip’s things. Mrs. Langsberry has heard the news about Archie and is relieved. She admits she was consumed by grief and anger.
As Tabby looks around, she notices Mrs. Langsberry has roses. She says she found them on her doorstep when she got up that morning. There wasn’t a note with them. Imogen’s heard enough and feels it’s time to leave.
Noa and Jen (Ava Capri) go over what has transpired with Bloody Rose and the current list of suspects. Jen notes they are only focusing on women suspects. Jen questions how well they know Tabby and Imogen’s new boyfriends, stating they just showed up out of nowhere. And Christian makes horror masks. (Why is she bringing them into this?)
The BFFs meet up at school and Imogen fills the rest of the friends in on Mrs. Langsberry. Mouse says Spooky Spaghetti is on fire about the riot, claiming this is a sign they have been waiting for and that it’s almost time for the reckoning.
They’re interrupted by the principal who hits them with bad news. They all failed their Keystone Practice Exam. He doesn’t want to hear their sob stories. If they pass, they move forward. End of discussion.
Tabby thinks it’s time to buckle down and get their significant others to help them study. Noa takes the opportunity to suggest maybe adding Johnny and Christian to the suspect list. And, of course, Tabby and Imogen are taken aback by that. Tabby brings up Jen as a possible suspect, and Noa defensively tells them Jen saved her from Bloody Rose. The girls are getting slightly heated as they go back and forth about their current and past significant others possibly being on the list.
After arguing with each other, Tabby reminds them that they are all in this together. She suggests that maybe they should do a little investigating on their boyfriends.
Tabby calls a theater that Christian said he worked at. The guy on the other end says Christian Peele doesn’t ring familiar.
Imogen’s approach to questioning Johnny (Antonio Cipriano) isn’t as smooth. After asking who he is texting, and getting the response, “No one,” she wonders if he is keeping options open for other girls. She wants his phone, and it shows the last person he texted was her. Imogen checks his browser history to no avail. Johnny knows she has been through a lot but asks that she please believe him. He would never do anything to hurt her.
Mouse jumps on Spooky Spaghetti and comes across a post that reads: “Here are teasers of what’s to come. What we’ve been working towards.” Mouse opens a video, and to her shock and horror, it’s a compilation video of Bloody Rose killing all of her victims. At the end of the video, it reads, “The Reckoning is NOW.”
Imogen opens the freezer at work to get ice cream and discovers dead bodies. She confronts Johnny with a pipe wrench and accuses him of being a murderer. As Johnny comes closer, she strikes him on the head, knocking him out. She drags him to the freezer and locks him in.
Tabby heads down into Christian’s basement to look through his things. She finds the mask that looks like Imogen’s mom that Bloody Rose wore. As Tabby heads upstairs, she’s met by Bloody Rose with a butcher knife. Bloody Rose causes Tabby to fall down the stairs and lose consciousness.
The girls, minus Tabby, meet at Mouse’s. Imogen tells them about the bodies she found. They notice Tabby isn’t there just as Mouse receives a call from her tech teacher. The servers for Spooky Spaghetti are housed at the Orpheum Movie Theater.
The girls confront Christian (Noah Alexander Gerry) at the Orpheum. He claims he doesn’t know what they are talking about, and that he also can’t get ahold of Tabby.
Tabby wakes up locked in a confessional. “Confess your sins” is written on the inside. She slides open the confessional door and sees the real Rose Waters, bloody and dead.
Christian takes the girls upstairs at the Orpheum where the theater’s internet servers are kept. Meanwhile, Tabby escapes the confessional and sees scary masks on top of poles, lined up in church pews as if they’re attending a service. The now-dead Pastor Malachi is also in the church. There are drawings all over the wall of what each girl went through during their tests by Bloody Rose.
The girls and Christian find a note from Bloody Rose to check out her movie in screening room three.
Tabby soon finds herself surrounded by several people in scary masks. A and Bloody Rose are there as well.
The girls and Christian check out the screening room and discover it’s a livestream showing what’s happening to Tabby. …Pause for dramatic effect… And now we learn the identity of Bloody Rose. It’s Chip’s mom, Mrs. Langsberry. The person dressed as A is Tabby’s old boss, Wes (Derek Klena). He says he’s making a movie … well, livestreaming one. Wes tells Tabby that if she confesses and tells Mrs. Langsberry what she wants to hear, she can walk away.
Faran recognizes the room and says it’s Kelly’s church. As the girls run out to try and save Tabby, they are met by people in masks standing in their way. The masked mob (Bloody Rose’s proxies) breaks in and the girls, plus Christian, retreat to the screening room and lock themselves in.
Instead of confessing, Tabby doubles down and says Chip raped her and Imogen. He got what he had coming to him. Bloody Rose begins to freak out and Wes stops her from stabbing Tabby. Tabby’s going to die but not quite yet.
The girls escape out a back door while Christian tries to keep the mob from breaking into the screening room.
Tabby asks Wes why he is doing this. He explains that he became close with Mrs. Langsberry after Chip died. Ultimately, they opened up to each other. Wes says he and Chip talked about making a movie once. A flashback shows Wes describing the movie to Chip, explaining he thought it would be great to kill someone in real life and livestream it so people could watch. Which is exactly what he’s doing right now.
It turns out Wes is not only a murderer but is a racist as well, whining about how doors don’t open up for white guys like him anymore, but they do open up for “people like her.”
He set up Spooky Spaghetti and used it to recruit a cast. Wes wants people to know he is the one who did all this. Apparently, being a murderer is the only way for him to become famous.
The girls steal a car to get to Tabby as she keeps Wes busy talking about what he has done, including setting up her boyfriend and killing Tabby’s friends. Wes thinks this will all benefit Tabby as well because she will be talked about forever. Tabby warns him that she’ll never give him what he wants – tears, screams, and her fear. She won’t give him the final girl performance that he wants for his “f**ked-up, sh*tty joke of a movie.”
Wes thinks she needs motivation and shows her a video of her mom at home and people with knives outside, waiting.
Tabby makes her move, jumping out of a window and making a run for it. The loyal followers give chase, and of course, they’re wearing cameras to continue the livestream. Tabby begins to take them all out, one by one.
Tabby fakes Wes out by making him think she went into a cabin.
The girls can’t find anyone in the church. Suddenly, Bloody Rose pops up with her knife. Faran knocks her out.
Tabby confronts Wes with a pitchfork and when he taunts her, claiming she won’t do anything with it, she stabs him. The girls find Tabby and then see Wes who appears to be dead. But just like in nearly every horror film, he wakes up and scares the girls. Imogen knocks him out. Minutes later, they find a tied-up Dr. Sullivan (Annabeth Gish).

Two Weeks Later
The girls retake their exam and then have a session with Dr. Sullivan. Tabby and Christian are all good, but Johnny and Imogen broke up. It was his decision, obviously. Wes and Mrs. Langsberry were arrested along with their loyal followers who joined them in terrorizing the girls. Spooky Spaghetti has been shut down.
They decide they no longer need group therapy. Dr. Sullivan suggests they do something nice for themselves while waiting for their test results.
And that something nice is…matching tattoos of FGE – “Final Girl Energy.” Even Kelly gets one.
The girls pass their exam, and Imogen asks Tabby if she is still going to make her film. Tabby believes she is done with Archie Waters and Bloody Rose. Her new idea has bigger, badder villains.
Cue the girls in masks walking down the school’s hallways.
Aw, but of course there’s a plot twist. Dr. Sullivan’s book about the girls is about to be published but her editor tells her during a phone call that she needs the girls to sign off on it first. She claims they will because they are narcissists. Just then, the lights go out, and guess who shows up? None other than A himself. Dr. Sullivan asks him if he killed her son, begging him to tell her the truth. A doesn’t answer. Instead, he repeatedly stabs her.
Brandy has to deal with an elderly racist mother-in-law who believes the Holy Spirit possesses her and gives her power in A24’s trailer for The Front Room. The two-minute trailer shows the unwelcome new housemate is closer to being possessed by the Devil than anything holy.
In addition to Brandy Norwood (Best. Christmas. Ever!), the horror film stars Andrew Burnap (Under the Banner of Heaven), Neal Huff (The Sinner), and Kathryn Hunter (Megalopolis) as the wicked mother-in-law.
“Everything goes to hell for newly-pregnant Belinda (Brandy) after her mother-in-law (Kathryn Hunter) moves in,” reads A24’s synopsis. “As the diabolical guest tries to get her claws on the child, Belinda must draw the line somewhere…”
The Lighthouse‘s Max and Sam Eggers wrote and directed the R-rated horror thriller. The Front Room opens in theaters on September 6, 2024.
HBO’s second official The Penguin teaser shows Oz Cobb declaring himself the new shot caller following the death of Carmine Falcone. However, the Falcone family begs to differ.
Oscar nominee Colin Farrell reprises his role from The Batman for the eight-episode limited series. The series, based on the DC Comics, also stars Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar, Michael Kelly as Johnny Viti, and Shohreh Aghdashloo as Nadia Maroni. Deirdre O’Connell plays Francis Cobb, Clancy Brown is Salvatore Maroni, James Madio is Milos Grapa, and Scott Cohen is Luca Falcone.
Rounding out The Penguin cast are Michael Zegen as Alberto Falcone, Carmen Ejogo as Eve Karlo, and Theo Rossi as Dr. Julian Rush.
Lauren LeFranc developed the limited series and serves as writer and executive producer. The Batman director Matt Reeves also executive produces along with series star Colin Farrell, Dylan Clark, Craig Zobel, Daniel Pipski, and Bill Carraro. Zobel directed the first three episodes.

Let go of any preconceived notions you may have about The Bikeriders. Writer/director Jeff Nichols (Mud) took Danny Lyon’s 1968 photo book about the Chicago Outlaws Motorcycle Club and fashioned a fictional tale of the Vandals motorcycle club and the woman in their lives. The trailers emphasize the men and their bikes but neglect to highlight the film’s most complex and interesting character, Kathy. Flawlessly played by Jodie Comer (Killing Eve), Kathy’s the heart and soul of the film, with Comer’s performance being the reason to see it.
The Bikeriders charts the evolution of the Vandals motorcycle club from a group of guys who just love bikes into an outlaw gang that its founder, Johnny (Tom Hardy, Venom), ultimately doesn’t recognize. Kathy tells the club’s history to Danny Lyon (Mike Faist, Challengers), an outsider allowed access to the club to take photos. He’s hoping to publish a book of photographs, and the interviews will accompany the stills to flesh out the club’s story.
Danny also occasionally interviews the club members themselves, but it’s Kathy’s perspective that provides real insight into the club’s dynamics and social structure. Kathy first encounters the Vandals at a bar and is overwhelmed by their attention. That is until she sees the newest member, Benny (Austin Butler, Dune: Part 2), playing pool. He’s attractive, she’s attractive, and together they make a good-looking, cool cat couple.
Kathy’s not interested in bikes, but Benny’s devotion to the Vandals and its enigmatic leader means that she quickly becomes fully entrenched in the culture. Kathy’s answers to Danny’s questions come alive as flashbacks of significant moments in Vandals history. Benny and Johnny are the focus of most, but there’s a few interesting tidbits served up on other members. Michael Shannon is in full-on crazy mode as Zipco, a guy who believes anyone who goes to college is a pinko. Boyd Holbrook’s Cal is one of the less intense members of the gang, and Damon Herriman is Johnny’s trusted right-hand man, Brucie, a seemingly decent guy who’s more contemplative than action-oriented.
Less time is spent with Johnny’s loyal supporters, Wahoo (Beau Knapp), Cockroach (Emory Cohen), The Kid (Toby Wallace), and Corky (Karl Glusman), since The Bikeriders is primarily Benny and Kathy’s story. Filmmaker Nichols has described the film as a love triangle, with Kathy and Johnny vying for Benny’s attention. Why are Johnny and Kathy so attracted to Benny? He’s James Dean cool, loyal, and quick to throw a punch in defense of his friends. He’s a man of few words who lets his actions do the talking. And there’s just something indescribably appealing about him that pulls people into his orbit, even though he denies wanting or needing attachments.
Comer, who does a fantastic job of embracing a Chicago in the ‘60s accent, plays Kathy as a woman who knows her mind yet cedes control to Benny. She can’t let go of a bad thing, even while recognizing she’ll always share Benny’s heart with Johnny and the club. Comer listened to a tape of the real Kathy and loved that she said exactly what she felt. That, and Kathy’s exuberance, are incorporated into Comer’s take on the fictionalized version of Kathy.
Leader of the pack Johnny’s a married trucker who embraced the biker lifestyle after watching Marlon Brando in The Wild Ones. The Brando vibe is infused in Hardy’s performance, which isn’t anything new. Hardy’s approach to a character is often compared to Brando’s, but in The Bikeriders the similarities are overt and intentional. Johnny’s one of Hardy’s more interesting characters. There’s a captivating ambiguity to Johnny, and Hardy gives away nothing more than is necessary about Johnny’s personality.
Butler’s Benny doesn’t say much, which works since Comer’s Kathy fills the void. Butler and Comer have legitimate chemistry, and their scenes absolutely sizzle. The Bikeriders wouldn’t work if Butler and Comer didn’t generate that spark on screen.
The Bikeriders isn’t just a movie about 10 years in the lives of Vandals motorcycle club members. Set in the ‘60s, Nichols’ film transports us into the turbulent decade while addressing the search for self-identity and the desire not to succumb to society’s pressures. The guys in the club are all working-class, and the club is an outlet to rebel against the established social order.
More insight into the motivations of various club members would have been helpful, but as it is, The Bikeriders delivers a compelling tale of a bygone era while focusing on a group not normally in the spotlight. There were 60+ members of motorcycle clubs at the screening I attended, and by far, the biggest reaction came when the characters discussed not wanting to be forced to abide by society’s rules, followed by a discussion of club rules the members must adhere to. That dialogue struck a chord with the bikers, and it perfectly encapsulated Nichols’ film.

Netflix is adding the new sports series Spring and Receiver to its lineup in July 2024. Vikings: Valhalla returns for season three, Exploding Kittens featuring the voice Tom Ellis (Lucifer) debuts, and Cobra Kai kicks off its sixth and final season this July.
Netflix’s roster of films arriving in the hot summer months include Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, The Imaginary, Wild Wild Punjab, Vanished Into the Night, and Find Me Falling. New documentary films and series include The Man with 1000 Kids, Homicide: Los Angeles, Skywalkers: A Love Story, and Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam.

Syfy’s Resident Alien has earned a fourth season order, and has found a new channel to call home. NBCUniversal is moving the series from Syfy to USA Network for season four.
The popular sci-fi comedy stars Alan Tudyk as Harry Vanderspeigle, Sara Tomko as Asta, and Corey Reynolds as Sheriff Mike. Alice Wetterlund is D’Arcy Bloom, Levi Fiehler plays Ben Hawthorne, Elizabeth Bowen is Deputy Liv, and Judah Prehn is Max Hawthorne.
“Based on the Dark Horse comics, Resident Alien follows a crash-landed alien named Harry whose secret mission is to kill all humans. In season three, Harry vowed to work with General McCallister to rid the Earth of the Grey aliens, a task made more difficult when he discovered that the Grey Hybrid Joseph had taken a job in town as the new Deputy,” reads Syfy’s synopsis. “In addition, Harry struggled to balance business and his personal life when he fell in love for the first time.”
Chris Sheridan has guided the series as showrunner since the first season and will continue as showrunner for season four. Sheridan executive produces along with Robert Duncan McNeill, Nastaran Dibai, Dark Horse Entertainment’s Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg. Amblin TV’s Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank also executive produce.
Sheridan tweeted out the news and thanked fans for their continuing support. “Thrilled to announce that Resident Alien has been picked up for a new season! We are shifting over to USA Network for a 10 episode Season 4! Thank you for your patience and for being the best fans in the world,” said Sheridan.
Season three premiered in February 2024 and averaged 3.3 million viewers. USA Network hasn’t announced a target premiere date for season four.

George R.R. Martin’s The Hedge Knight novella is the source material for HBO’s A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms which has just begun filming in Belfast, Ireland. The new addition to the Game of Thrones franchise is written and executive produced by George R.R. Martin and Ira Parker.
HBO’s start of production announcement confirmed five actors have joined the fantasy series. Finn Bennett will play Aerion Targaryen, Bertie Carvel is Baelor Targaryen, Tanzyn Crawford is Tanselle, Daniel Ings plays Ser Lyonel Baratheon, and Sam Spruell is on board as Maekar Targaryen. They join previously announced stars Peter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell, who are set to play Dunk and Egg, respectively.
“A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg,” reads HBO’s synopsis. “Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends.”
House of the Dragon‘s Ryan Condal is executive producing along with Vince Gerardis, Owen Harris, and Sarah Bradshaw. Sarah Adina Smith (Lessons In Chemistry) will direct three of the season’s six episodes. Harris directs the other three episodes.
Apple TV+’s trailer for Lady in the Lake opens with a voice-over by Emmy nominee Moses Ingram, revealing that while she was alive she was Cleo Johnson. “But in my death, I became the Lady in the Lake.” The nearly three-minute trailer shows Oscar winner Natalie Portman as the desperately unsatisfied woman who found Cleo’s body.
The limited series, based on Laura Lippman‘s bestseller, also stars Y’lan Noel, Brett Gelman, Byron Bowers, Noah Jupe, Josiah Cross, Mikey Madison, and Pruitt Taylor Vince.
“When the disappearance of a young girl grips the city of Baltimore on Thanksgiving 1966, the lives of two women converge on a fatal collision course. Maddie Schwartz (Portman), a Jewish housewife seeking to shed a secret past and reinvent herself as an investigative journalist, and Cleo Johnson (Ingram), a mother navigating the political underbelly of Black Baltimore while struggling to provide for her family,” reads Apple TV+’s synopsis. “Their disparate lives seem parallel at first, but when Maddie becomes fixated on Cleo’s mystifying death, a chasm opens that puts everyone around them in danger.”
Alma Har’el created the series and serves as director, executive producer, and writer. Natalie Portman, Christopher Leggett, Sophie Mas. Nathan Ross, and the late Jean-Marc Vallée also executive produce. Additional executive producers include Layne Eskridge, Amy Kaufman, Boaz Yakin, and author Lippmann. The series is produced by Crazyrose and Bad Wolf America.
Lady in the Lake premieres on July 19, 2024 with the release of the first two episodes. New episodes stream on Fridays.

Everybody Hates Chris has spawned an animated followup, with Comedy Central announcing details on the adult animated series Everybody Still Hates Chris. The new series features returning Everybody Hates Chris stars Chris Rock, Terry Crews, and Tichina Arnold. The original series ran for four seasons on UPN, and the animated version is targeting a premiere on Comedy Central later this year.
“I’m very excited to introduce the world to another funny side of my childhood,” said Chris Rock.
The half-hour animated comedy also features Tim Johnson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, and Gunnar Sizemore. Central Park‘s Sanjay Shah is the showrunner and executive produces along with Chris Rock of Chris Rock Enterprises, Ali LeRoi, and 3 Arts Entertainment’s Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky. Additional executive producers include Titmouse’s Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio and Ben Kalina.
“I wanted this job to get free tickets to a Chris Rock stand-up show, but we ended up making something we’re proud of that is true to the original series we all loved,” said Shah.
The animated series is produced by CBS’s Eye Animation Productions, Chris Rock Enterprises, and 3 Arts Entertainment. Titmouse is serving as the animation studio.

Everybody Still Hates Chris will feature Chris Rock as Adult Chris, narrating stories inspired by his experience growing up as a skinny nerd in a large working-class family in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, during the late 1980s. Terry Crews will voice Julius, Chris’ father, who is a gentle giant with a relentless work ethic – and cheap. He grew up dirt poor, so he knows the cost of everything down to the penny. He works two jobs to support the family, and on his days off, he takes on a third job.
Tichina Arnold will voice Rochelle, Chris’ mother who is smart, strong-willed, and has a nurturing spirit, but she can also be hot-headed, especially when it comes to her kids. She tolerates zero nonsense, so she quits more jobs in a month than most people do in a lifetime. Tim Johnson Jr. will voice Young Chris, a nerd who wants to be cool but he’s outshined by his younger brother, tortured by his little sister, and foiled by his cheapskate dad. Ozioma Akagha will voice Tonya, Chris’ feisty baby sister, with the face of an angel and the heart of a demon, who gets along with her middle brother Drew but leaps at any chance to get Chris in trouble.
Terrence Little Gardenhigh will voice Drew, the golden child of the family who is the epitome of Black Excellence: handsome, athletic, a ladies man, taller and cooler than his older brother Chris. Gunnar Sizemore will voice Greg, Chris’s only friend at school who is girl-obsessed, status-conscious, and raised by a single dad.
