James Cameron’s official trailer for the third Avatar film, Avatar: Fire and Ash, is all about the visuals and action scenes, with very little dialogue. Jake and Neytiri continue to put family first in a fight to survive, with Jake warning his partner Neytiri not to live in hate. That appears to be easier said than done when everyone’s trying to kill you.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña return to lead the cast as Jake and Neytiri. The third film of the franchise also stars Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, and Kate Winslet. James Cameron directs and co-wrote the screenplay with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
“With Avatar: Fire and Ash, James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Saldaña), and the Sully family,” reads 20th Century Studios’ very vague synopsis.
Avatar: Fire and Ash will open in IMAX 3D, Dolby Cinema 3D, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, 4DX, ScreenX, and traditional theaters on December 19, 2025.
Season three of AMC’s Interview with the Vampire dropped a new behind-the-scenes teaser, a couple of new photos, and a new title – The Vampire Lestat – during the San Diego Comic-Con. Fans attending the Ballroom 20 panel were also the first to learn about five new cast members who’ll be sinking their teeth into Anne Rice’s world.
Returning series stars include Sam Reid in the titular role, Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, and Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy. The network also confirmed Delainey Hayles and Assad Zaman are reprising their roles as Claudia and Armand, respectively.
Newcomers for season three include Jennifer Ehle (Lioness) as Gabriella, Ella Ballentine (Black Conflux) as Baby Jenks, Jeanine Serralles (Apples Never Fall) as Christine Claire, Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the Banner of Heaven) as Marius, and Damien Atkins (Slings & Arrows) as Magnus.

“A luxury apartment covering an entire single floor of a high rise. Where the Vampire has granted the interview with the man he once judged to be unworthy. And where the journalist Daniel Molloy has hustled, for a second shot at the interview that got away from him 40 years earlier,” reads AMC’s synopsis. “Based on Anne Rice’s iconic novel, Interview with the Vampire follows Louis’ epic story of love, blood and the perils of immortality, as told to the journalist Daniel Molloy. Chafing at the limitations of life as a black man in 1900’s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist Lestat’s offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion.
But Louis’s intoxicating new powers come with a violent price, and the introduction of Lestat’s newest fledgling, the child vampire Claudia, soon sets them on a decades-long path of revenge and atonement. A sensuous, contemporary reinvention of Anne Rice’s revolutionary gothic novel.”
The Vampire Lestat, which is targeting a 2026 premiere, will feature four customized Player II Modified Stratocaster guitars (the “The LeStrat” collection). Filming began last month in Toronto, with Rolin Jones as writer and showrunner. Jones also executive produces along with Mark Johnson, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice.
DC Studios’ 2025 San Diego Comic-Con presence centered around season two of Peacemaker, premiering August 21, 2025 on HBO Max. The Peacemaker panel was one of the most popular at this year’s Comic-Con, and the “Peacefest” activation with props from the series and a live concert was one of the most sought-after tickets.
James Gunn and stars John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, Tim Meadows, and Sol Rodriguez unveiled the official season two trailer during the Hall H panel. And later, at a special Press VIP “Peacefest” party, Gunn revealed the title song is “Oh Lord” by Foxy Shazam.
“In season two, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands,” reads HBO Max’s synopsis.
Gunn created the series, wrote all eight season two episodes, and directed three. Gunn, Peter Safran, and John Cena serve as executive producers. Additional season two directors include Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Alethea Jones.
New episodes stream on Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT on HBO Max.

“It has been the thrill of a lifetime to shoot this part of Daryl and Carol’s adventure together in Europe, and I keep coming back for more of these two characters,” said Melissa McBride. “There is still so much story left to tell and so much for the fans to look forward to. I’m going to revel in the moments as they come and am excited for the fans to see what we have been working on in these incredible locations.”
Season three launches on September 7, 2025 on AMC and AMC+. The network did not announce a target premiere date for season four.
“Across two extraordinary series spanning almost two decades, Norman and Melissa have given life to two of the most iconic characters in the history of television. Daryl and Carol have taken fans on an unforgettable and intensely human journey of challenge, survival, hope, and friendship, and the response from fans, from the very first moments of The Walking Dead, has been remarkable. We can’t wait to share the upcoming third season of Daryl this fall and to begin production on this fourth and final season in Spain,” said Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks. “Whatever awaits these two beloved characters, we know The Walking Dead Universe is a timeless franchise that holds endless possibilities for story and characters new and old.”
