Poptone performed to a pretty packed House of Blues in Anaheim, CA on Monday, May 15, 2017. The band played mostly songs from Tones on Tail and a few songs from Love and Rockets, Bauhaus, as well as Daniel Ash’s solo. The night kicked off with a cover of Elvis Presley’s “Heartbreak Hotel” and ended with Adam Ant’s “Physical (You’re So)” as the night’s encore.
Poptone consists of original members of Bauhaus, Tones on Tail, and Love and Rockets, Daniel Ash (lead vocals, guitarist and saxophone) and drummer Kevin Haskins.
