Lots of familiar faces are returning for season four of Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso. The streamer confirmed new and returning cast and announced that production has officially gotten underway in Kansas City on the award-winning comedy’s new season. Filming will also take place in London.

Obviously, Jason Sudeikis is back as the titular character. Joining him are series regulars Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, and Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard. Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, and Abbie Hern join the cast for season four. Grant Feely will also star as Ted’s son, Henry, taking over for Gus Turner.

“Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team,” reads Apple TV+’s synopsis. “Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”

Jason Sudeikis, Brendan Hunt, Brett Goldstein, Jack Burditt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, Bill Wrubel, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, and Liza Katzer serve as executive producers. The series was developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly, and Hunt. Season four writers include Goldstein, Leanne Bowen, Sarah Walker, Phoebe Walsh, and Julia Lindon, with Dylan Marron serving as story editor.

The award-winning feel-good comedy debuted in August 2020. The 12-episode second season followed in July 2021, and season three premiered in March 2023. Apple TV+ hasn’t announced a season four premiere date. (Update: Apple TV confirmed a target premiere.)
